This and Monogatari I just don't have the luxury to find and stay for every content. After a couple years I will go and rewatch it but quit because of either burnt out, skipped content, and or boredom for something new. Monogatari though it's exclusively how fast the SUB is and all the information that zips away or shoves into your face real quick. Higorashis mystery and gore in the beginning were/always bring me to watch it. In my opinion just like Danganronpa the first season was perfect and it's themes it's presentation can't ever be replicated same.

This anime feel's so REWARDING to complete. For each episode you complete, the more close you are to understand what is going on. You feel like you are part of the mystery and the characters are so WELL written. I feel so ashamed that I didn't watch this anime before, so if you never watched it and you feel like you want to. It is super worth it but keep in mind season 1 will give you a lot of questions, while season 2 will answer them all.

The opening fits the anime so well. It has a creepy feel to it that feels unwelcoming, yet welcoming at the same time. Always gives me goosebumps during the last four lines due to the way they are sung; the feeling of which is both melancholic and psychedelic at the same time. Normally, two wrongs do not make a right, but for some reason the singing satisfies me with these two undertones, rather than coming off as creepy. Maybe it is also because of how good the rhythm of the music is as well. I can definitely say it is my favorite horror anime theme due to its unusually upbeat nature giving off vibes that only the more innocently casual viewer would find scary and creepy, well viewers like me that give it a more insightful cognitive approach would simply admire and enjoy it.
