The best of the Risen series. It's basically a reimagination of Gothic 1, with a very similar story and gameplay, only in Risen the whole experience is much more refined. The developers knew exactly what they wanted at this point. 10/10

Discovering this game at the moment, and I'm enjoying the atmosphere and the world building. Even to today's standards it's very charming. Too bad the best soundtrack happens at night.

I'm in love with this soundtrack. Fits the game so well. I love the mixed genres that fit just right for example acoustic tones in the Don's swamp and kind of gothic tones at night.

@@lazyartist5875 Еще помню как на компе брата играл, боялся с лагеря дона выйти) Срался от врагов. А если нажимал не туда, и начинал новую игру, то боялся бить тех птиц в начале) Так и шлялся по берегу. Воспоминанияяя)

@@stendarr4555 я в детстве дико мглоров, саурианцев, упырей и этих огромных черепах боялся, прям животный страх внушали))) эта игра - одна из лучших для входа неокрепшего разума в игровую индустрию, только она дарит такие закоренелые, тёплые и благие воспоминания)

​@@mama_mila_ramu Как же ты точно описал с геймплейной позиции. Всё именно так! Тут даже типажи людские прописаны хорошо, что и ребёнку понятно, и взрослому. Добро и зло хоть и достаточно просто разграничены, но уже далеко не детские мультики, можно и подумать юнцу.

@NeoTodesklingel I think risen is more solid in terms of gameplay becasue they scaled it down and were able to put some real detail and nuances into it, but gothic 3 is more ambitious (just unfinished).

It's Fact... @Rodriquez124 Risen was the better Gothic 3, in it's whole Essence. Even tough the dark Ambiente was not so strong like in Gothic 2 and very much, Gothic 1 - the Game was still badass. Just the many Dungeons at the End were a little to much. Otherwise, this Game was genius. Arcania - a Gothic Fail, has never a Chance to triumph over Risen in Terms of "Gothic" ...

woops, I meant Morrowind, never played Oblivion x) taking that back. I remember that the gameplay was way too slow for me, especially the walking seemed to take hours for only a few metres. Also I didn´t like it´s style and the characters, but that´s just my opinion. I deinstalled it after 1 hour of gaming. Mainly, I just don´t like it when ppl randomly show up and say "[game x] is better", like "MrSupersoka11", that´s actually all.
