I’m really going through some shit right now, and feel so empty. But maybe that is it, maybe I need to be empty, so that all that’s left is love. All emo aside, and it’s hard to put it down, this is a killer song. I was a little worried after The Dream Walker. And then Blink came out with California. I didn’t know what to do. Then you put out Rebel Girl and I’m like: “fuck, more electronics”. But it grew on me, I had hope. Then Kiss & Tell came out and blew my mind. But this song, well, it’s May 23, 2006 all over again. Your commitment to be yourself and do create art that makes you happy inspired me as I grew up into adulthood. Tom is one of the people I want to meet in Heaven and hear all his funny stories, seeing him in person was close enough to see how big of a heart he has!

Tom is simply Tom. Grow up with you; let me get old with your music too. Love.

This song is going to be my theme going into 2021. It's more important than ever to hold on to hope and believe that things will change for the better in the coming year. Whatever comes next, love and positivity will get us through.

"The world is different now, We feel more of us" so damn relatable, Tom is one of my favorite humans, no doubt.

"This place is such a mess But we always pass the test" Man I hope those words are true, a lot of dumb things happening right now, hopefully we pass the test soon

Perhaps the entire concept of the test is unnatural and wrong, perhaps we should rip the school down and go back to the woods, bring our knowledge to the earth as a means of working with it rather than against it. The social engineers won’t allow it until it’s done on their terms however, UN agenda 2020 and 2030...

It would be awesome if Mark and Travis would agree to play a couple AVA songs on their blink 182 world tour… I can say without a doubt that Blink 182 needs Tom waaaay more than Tom needs Blink 182

My four months old son loves this song when i sing it to him or when i listen to it. He Also loves Kiss and Tell and he tries to sing when the chorus starts (not really sings but babbling loudly and happily) I cant wait when my son will be older so i will show him and give him All my Blink and AVA CDs and BCR too and when i will play him some songs on the guitar and learn him how to play it. Hopefully he will love it as i do

I hadn't listened to this song in a while but the other night I had a moment that really made me appreciate the opening lines "do you ever not open those eyes/to see again your old life". I was lying in bed drifting off to sleep and I randomly remembered a night I had a few months before the pandemic where I had dinner at the pub and then went into the city for ice cream. The bus ride home was packed and I had to stand but the bus driver was dressed like he was at a street party and was announcing all the stops so enthusiastically that it gave the whole trip a party bus vibe even though it was like 6:30 and the bus was full of commuters catching the bus home. So I was half asleep remembering this night and I suddenly had such a clear picture in my head of being crammed in a bus with a bunch of people and enjoying it, and I just had a moment where I realised life isn't gonna be like that for a long time. It really filled me with a real sense of sadness and loss and I've felt pretty down ever since. I'm a musician and I've spent the last 6 months feeling frustrated that I can't perform or go to gigs but the first time I felt genuinely sad or like I had lost a part of my life was just this dumb memory of a short bus trip that didn't seem that memorable at the time.
