I havent heard a song by these guys that i dont like, even though i like screaming, i also like good vocals, and this singer is VERY talented, i like this mix of metalcore instrumentality and pop-punk vocals, they do go very well together.

Brilliant song. Whole album is fantastic. Well put together. Got me through some deep stuff. I love how you can hear Trenton's emotion in his singing. And the guitars are on point. And don't get me started on the drumming. I remember them saying they didn't know how they felt about what they had made for this album, but finally found right with it and released it. I'm glad they did :).

Hands Like Houses has been amazing since they came around. I really wish they had more plays. I know they aren't "underrated" but I feel like they are "undervalued". I personally feel that Hands Like Houses should be a front-runner for the face of Rise Records right now. I will continue to purchase Hands Like Houses albums to support their climb to the top. They are one of the few bands I still pay for.

This song instantly became a favorite of mine. A friend showed it to me 3 days ago and it means so much to me personally that i searched for hours to find a way to learn it on guitar. Until recently i never had a group of friends. I'd bounce back and forth between a few people but that's it. I didn't have a sense of belonging. "Shapeless we move" to me meaning i was constantly becoming who my few friends liked and had to change myself depending on who i was with. That's just one example. This song describes most of my life.

I really wanna see Rise sign a band called Affiance... Theyre a smallish band from Ohio (where im from and ive seen them live) and oh my god theyre amazing. Theyre not the typical Rise band. But they are super heavy and their vocalist has soooooo much range in his voice. Go check them out. They're pretty damn heavy. I recommend the song "The Campaign" and "You Will Be Replaced" (my personal favorites).

***** They have copyright, Rise has publishing rights. I own a small label in Maryland and it all depends on the contract in question, but most artists do retain the right to publish their own material but sometimes they have to ask the label. How are you going to do personal marketing without some kind of right to publish ... and once a contract runs out the artist is free to do what they please with their music, but Rise offers so much as a major label that there is very little need for the artist to maintain their own channel or even their own social networks, aside from their own personal accounts.
