Joe Willard Signing a record label is half the marketing, plus they handle most of the work regarding merchandise, PR, social media, album and song arrangements, etc. etc. Don't hate on record labels, most of them are led by regular people like you and me. Sure, some are corrupt but a lot of institutions/organizations are. It's unavoidable.
@joedubz14199 жыл бұрын
TheBestMusic8 My apologies, I should have specified whichever label they were on that fucked them bad enough to write several songs about it! You are very right, I just started in a band so that is something that needs to be looked into sooner or later, once we tighten up *since I posted this, I made an edit to the original taking out the plural form of 'record label'. Hopefully that's able to clarify a bit better :) *

Eila Juutilainen I agree. The intentions of an artist may be one thing, but what someone gets from it may be something completely different. Just take the religious context out and you could feel some kind of wa about his words. He's a great lyricist, so counting him out just cuz you arent religious like him is a desservice to him and you, as a listener.

Seeing them in Seattle was such a mind blowing experience. When Matty said "how many of you are long time fans?!", everyone cheered, then this hit and everyone around me was just blinded. Met some damn good people that night, and I'll never forget it.
