I've listened to almost the entire record, and I have to say, these are the most honest/straight-forward lyrics I've ever heard. Normally, bands try to be cryptic and overly poetic when calling someone out in a song, but Memphis May Fire isn't doing that. And I love that. These guys are going to completely blow up here in a few months into a dominant force in this genre. One of the best signings by Rise Records, if not the best.

Listened to this album a few times now, and with the direction they went i think its one of those times where when they were writing these songs, they knew it would either make or break them. I could be wrong, but with every song having such a forward message, it would have almost looked like a gamble for rise to get behind this release. As always, these guys killed it, and its going to be a very memorable release for a lot of people.

I think the reason people hate on something like this song is because they don't know the first thing about what it is about having to work to EARN something for themselves. They are handed everything and have no appreciation for anything. I think kids/adults like that need to have all of that taken away so they can see how hard it is to actually earn something!
