Oh, and it's funny how many DB combatants would be friends had they met in an official canon. As soon as these two showed that they were both loyal to the same country, they'd become an absolutely unstoppable team. Goku would have become super close with Superman and the Z fighters probably would have been inducted into the Justice League. Beast and Goliath needs no introduction. Mario and Sonic also needs no introduction, as does Tails and Luigi.

Indy The Great Well that's because they are so similar so that is why they'd be friends, but that is also why they are pitted against each other. Only ones I couldn't see as friends would be Vegeta and Shadow, Nightmare and Guts, Ragna and Sol, Spiderman and Batman and maybe Haggar and Zangief since I think they are apparently rivals.

Kevlar is resistant to ballistics, or bullets. See bullets penetrate the body through raw force alone. Not exactly from sharp-edge penetration. Kevlar is a material designed as a mesh to soften the bullet down to a bruising wound instead of a penetrating one. Kevlar vests do have plate slots that you can place steel or titanium plates to stop knife damage. But Snake's knife is capable also of releasing a charge at a distance. I don't see why he didn't use the taser mode when he snuck up on Fisher multiple times. It could've been over with rather quickly.

I'll admit right now that that besides one other person who does the let's watch death battle (because he is one of many who helps with the researching), I actually do enjoy your commentary on these videos. While most people would be rather silent and just watching with a straight face with little reactions, you always do seem engaging in regards of info you hear and what is happening on screen. I'll admit that I was slightly concerned with how long it took for this video to post up, but was rather thankful that it was still worth it. to watch it again. ^_^ As for the next death battle... Darth Vader vs Dr. Doom... Yep... Goes without saying that a fanbase is going to be taking offense to the end result of the fight once again. While we all know Vader and what he has done, Doom is basically the #1 bad guy in the entire Marvel universe (granted that if Marvel had the rights to the fantastic four, we'd probably see alot more of him). Really going to be hard to say who will take this next fight. But then after this one, it will place us right around SGC and we will get to that All important/highly requested Death Battle, so no doubt this next one is just going to be the opening act for what is coming up after this one.

Darth Vader is going up against Dr. Doom which makes me worried because I want him to win but he's up against an opponent who can shoot lightning just like a certain emperor in the Star Wars universe. On the plus side he'll have his lightsaber to deflect the blasts as well as the force but i'm not sure that'll cut it. Doom can fly so he has a huge mobility advantage. However Vader should be able to cut through Dr. Doom since his armor is titanium which isn't strong enough to resist a lightsaber. If anything expanded universe Darth Vader should even things out assuming they use those sources since they did with Luke and Boba Fett. It will be a close match but I'm hoping Star Wars will triumph over Marvel this time.

Yep and Vader can destroy planets if he's allowed to use the Death Star which could count as both a vehicle and a weapon. Obviously that won't happen because there's no way that can't be considered outside help. I'm also aware Doom has summoning magic but Vader can use force persuasion turning the subjects against their master. I know more about Vader than Doom so I don't have all the facts giving me more of a reason to be excited for the next death battle.

Cyberspecter125Doom's "titanium" armor has proved greater durability than actual titanium. Also, while weak to lighting, Vader can block and redirect it with his hands. In fact, the only reason why he doesn't generate lighting himself is because it can damage his life support system.

poluicionador Yeah Vader just needs to keep his suit from shutting down otherwise he's dead. Doom on the other hand doesn't have such a major liability to watch out for. Plus he's a Marvel character and they are always known for doing impossible things. Still I think Vader can win if he gets in close with his lightsaber because only specialized metals like cortosis are able to resist a direct and powerful slash from one. Even then subsequent hits will eventually erode the metal like any other.

I think everyone is forgetting about vaders wincon, the force (which Vader literally says stuff that can blow up planets pale in comparison to the power in the force) and since they are most likely using eu Vader who can like make people's head essentially explode with the force he has a very viable wincon with force choke and force crush...I find your lack of faith disturbing

Matthew Ford It was the same character's and therefore the same result, but even though it was classified as a "remastered" battle, the actual battle was very different (for example the inclusion of Zero suit Samus), so it's not unjustified to see this as 2 distinct battles. I'm not sure I would see it as 2 distinct battles (which is why I wrote "sort of" in my previous comment), but I can see why MrRedGreenBlue1 would see it that way.

My favorite death battle so far, no super powers or stupid abilities, just high-tech fighting masters. Sam had better tech and stealth, but Snake had out and out better fighting skills. I loved the fight, it was so cool, in character, and it wasn't just one shot-one kill, but a real fight.

Kevlar is just a Special Kind of fabric which starts fraying when hit and these frays stop the bullet but as normal frays they can be cut through.

To clear the confusion with the Kevlar it just stops the bullet from entering your body It can be cut armor for knives is thicker and and wont help Sam remain undetected

Kevlar isn't really as strong as you might imagine. The max amount of force it can resist is a .44 Magnum. Automatic weapons would be enough to pierce the material and do in your target. Plus, a knife at that close range and velocity would tear through Kevlar like paper.

So, Dr.Doom is going up against Darth Vader. Two of the most iconic and greatest villains on their respective medias brawling to the death. Anyone can casually go to a "Respect Thread" and admire what Dr.Doom has done, because you'll me amazed of how incredibly powerful he is, moreso than Vader in fact. Some people wanted Voldemort (who is a weakling in comparison to both Doom and Vader) and some wanted Sauron (who is pretty OP in the novels, and would curbstomp the previously mentioned dark lords by blinking). So yeah, can't wait to watch your reaction to that Death Battle.
