What I realised: shadow and knuckles' death battle had similar deaths. They both died from trying to save others. (Shadow teleporting the moon back, losing his power) and knuckles trying to save DK and himself. ALSO, they did not add the weakness of DK losing his hair. I think they rigged knuckles and shadow's death battle.

Problems with death battle's reasoning: 1) Sonic Boom and Sonic X are non cannon, so using them as examples is inaccurate.2) If Knuckles REALLY rushed into things with no strategy, he wouldn't have been able to beat super mecha sonic, chaos 6, and king boom boo.3) The scene with DK punching the moon was visibly operated off cartoon logic. At the speed the moon fell, it should have crushed the entire island and more, yet it only served as a comical weight, and was then shot back into orbit via a single explosion, which should not be possible, using that scene to find DK's strength (and durability) is inaccurate as physics were entirely absent during that scene.

I too really enjoyed the animation. The 3D fights are great but there are some battles where the sprite style (I think that is what it is called) works just fine. For two characters that basically began famous in basic sprite style platform games, I thought it was fitting. Love Knuckles but understand the reasoning behind DK winning. The one thing that did take me out of the battle was Knuckles' dialogue. He got hit and said "Oh no." how many times? Surely it couldn't have been that hard to find something else for him to say. Great job Ris! Keep it up..

EXStephen Guys, it wouldn't have been, mainly because Wario isn't dependent on just strength, he's actually quite intelligent, he single-handedly created a device that allows one to be inside of a TV show, interacting with the characters, and even effect the outcome after removing the device. Well they had to give Nintendo some win over Sega after Luigi and Mario both bit the dust. They had to ignore that Knuckles can match Sonic who is many many times faster than sound (possibly near or above light speed), and ignore than Knuckles knocked Sonic out of his otherwise totally invincible Super form, and pretty much everything in his Sonic Battle moveset as well as everything in the comic book series (which ups the scale of things to multiversal levels) to do it but since when have they ever really cared about being honest and objective?

Let's say he only moved 1/2 meter in that time. Light goes at 299,792,458 m/s meaning Sonic is 1,667,820.47x faster than light. Knuckles easily kept up with him. Let's grant DK the 25,000 mph for combat speed and say Sonic/Knuckles are only lightning fast. Lightning average 224,000 mph, so even stupidly low-balling them puts them so far above stupidly high-balled DK that it STILL isn't even a contest. It was unfair to Knuckles to include everything they could find for DK while ignoring the most powerful version of Knuckles. I had to laugh at how pathetically weak their excuse for writing off the Hyper Knuckles transformation (which boosts speed, power, gives him flight in the comics, and entirely new abilities) by saying a short-term invincibility thing DK gets can somehow match it. I knew going into this they were going to find a way to twist DK into being the victor, and when they wrote off Hyper Knuckles like that it was very clear that I was right. Alonzo Tompkins Funny how they didn't actually factor in just how stupidly fast Sonic is while coming up with a contrived nonsensical number for DK (Almost as silly as when they claimed because a completely different Ranger in a completely different series threw a car that The Tigerzord could somehow match Epyon's speed). Funny how everything possible was factoring in for Kong and the used the Sonic X anime for Knuckles meaning they used everything BUT the comics for him. For practically all fights, even the most obscure things are cited if they can be used to try and justify their pre-determined conclusions. Man from Shadow Yet all other media involving Knuckles and everything they could possibly dig up for DK was used. It is almost as if they knew that if they cited the comics that Knuckles would be so far beyond DK that no amount of bullshitting could hope to make him survive more than one blow.

It was a good match, but I think Screwattack didn't use all of Knuckles abilities, for example: - They forgot his Yellow Gloves, that could perform the Maximum Heat Knuckles Attack, able to annihilate shields (Chaos 2 had a perfect shield and Knuckles was able to shattered it). - They use more info of Boom Knuckles than Prime Knuckles (Prime Knuckles is not stupid; he believes there is kindness in all people, including Eggman, not to mention he had nomad knowledge, the reason why he was tricked; while Boom Knuckles is naturally stupid). - Prime Knuckles is incredible in using his terrain as a strategy. - Prime Knuckles can read ancient language (seen in Sonic Riders Zero Gravity), so he can read, while Boom Knuckles can't read. - Between Prime and Boom, Prime had more experience in combat than Boom. - If Knuckles had a deep connection to the Master Emerald, he could have transformed into Super Knuckles. - The Donkey Kong games don't follow the same line as the Mario games, so Knuckles could have used the Chaos Emeralds, again transforming into Super Knuckles. - Super Knuckles is in the same level of power as Super Sonic, although is transformation is longer than Sonic's. - The Strong Kong form is only for a few seconds, while Super Knuckles' is for a few minutes. Knuckles should have won this match. I still love you, my awesome echidna pal!

I ALWAYS love your reaction vids. They are my favorite ones on KZbin for Death Battle. But I have to say, they made 1 mistake in DK's feats here. They calculate that the moon in DK has a diameter of 2775 feet. That's fine. I can get behind that. But then they calculate the mass of the DK moon by comparing it to the size and mass of our moon. They get the mass of our moon correct (81 quintillion megatons) but they got the diameter of our moon wrong. They say that it is 11,400 feet across, but that is incorrect. Our moon is 11,400,000 feet across. Their math was perfect, except that they got the size of our moon for comparison wrong. I re-did all the math, and DK's punching feat would require less than 1 megaton of force in that instance (way less actually, less than .00001 megatons), which when compared to the 3.9 megatons that Knuckles' volcano feat requires, makes Knuckles much stronger. I don't know why they got the size of our moon so wrong. But they did. And it really messed up their math. Also, the explosion that send DK into orbit...didn't. Because that moon is so much smaller, but also looks the same from the ground, we know that the moon is also much closer to earth. Still within our atmosphere actually. I'm not even sure what's holding it up there other than...cartoon magic. Anyways, it was still an awesome fight, and I had a lot of fun with it and with your reaction. Here's hoping they don't mess up the size of the moon again if they need to use it in the future.

+Kyle Flanagan That's wrong on both accounts. The moon's diameter is around 5 million feet, not 11 million. And the diameter's for DK's moon is also small as it's barely over a mile, yet it's as large as an island. I don't know why you aren't suspicious about that either. The major point over all was while DK's punched a smaller moon, it was still more plausible than Knuckles' related feat and proved he is stronger overall. And the explosion actually did send DK into orbit. You can see it clearly in the cutscene.

Screw Attack really screwed this one, even more than Gaara vs Toph (and I actually like Toph more than the other mind you). While in all other Sonic characters they included stuff from Archie's Sonic World comics, the completely ignored them with Knuckles. In it, he and other members of Brotherhood of Guardians (his ancestors, who served as Guardian - there can be only one acting - before him) have direct link to the Chaos Force like Shadow, and a strong one at that even for a Guardian. It was so strong to the point that he could become a Hyper Knuckles (similar to Super Sonic) and TWICE he became a living embodiment of Chaos, although the second time he was "possessed" by the spirit of Enerjak. He could warp reality, read minds, teleport, all kinds of stuff, and in a fight he could punch somebody with an ISLAND, and was mentioned to have sunked a continent (he was evil as Enerjak).

That's not how it happened in the comics. In the comics, there was a meteor heading towards the city, so the Echidnas used a bunch of Chaos emeralds, along with some help from the Fire Ants, to rip the city out of the ground and fly out of its path

If you are still wondering about Knuckles saying "Oh no." Every time he was hit, just search Knuckles oh no on youtube and you'll find out why. Also, as for knuckles giving DK the advantage, I think they meant that Knuckles stays up close, not using hit and run tactics like Sonic would.

videogamemaniac1231 Really wish it is Alex Mercer. Both are insane superhumans(smell, hearing, and strength). Both have insane regen. Wolverine has indestructible metal. Mercer is a walking bio-hazard that consumes all life but can he out consume Wolverines regen. Either way I want to regen monsters to duke it out.

NotShantez Yeah not going to watch *if* that is true. Throw that in the unfair poll. Along with Vader vs Doom. Sounds stupid if they only want a claw fight...also Mercer can make claws, or a Blade, or a Whip, or a Hammer arm. The other weakness is that Mercer needs to absorb living creatures if he takes too much dmg...he survived a nuke, similar to Wolverine but he needed to consume birds to live. Wolverine doesn't follow the conservation of mass/energy rule so he can "grow" matter out of no where.

Guys, i was wondering, as we already saw Knuckles can rotate his arms at high speed which can cut through metal, assuming Donkey Kong's skin was tough enough to survive that his hair wouldnt and would be cut if Knuckles got close enogh to hit him. That wouldn't be a peoblem considering Donkey Kong is melee and Knucles already got rid of his gun.
