While the father was certainly an actor and a superstar, what little I've seen of the son makes me quite certain that he could easily reach the same dizzying heights... if he manages to keep his head. It just shows how Rishi Kapoor had a knack for acting from such a young age. He even got a National Award for it, for his debut film performance.

And in the era of This modern music, I hear it but not more than My all time favourite, Evergreen actors and Songs ! The RK thing is a generational thing in the Kapoor family. Ranbir's grandfather's name was Raj Kapoor. Ranbir's uncles are Randhir Kapoor (whose daughter's are Karishma and Kareena Kapoor, both actresses) and Rajiv Kapoor. Then his father is Rishi Kapoor & then there's Ranbir. You can see Ranbir's uncle Randhir at 5:15.
