Actually at the time of KKHH Srk and Kajol were already established actors and a big pair, karan went to different actresses for the role of Tina but no one wanted to play it against Kajol and after almost everyone denied, he went to Rani (yes he wasn't sure that's she'll be able to pull it up and even audience would digest it) but she came through with flying colors ❤️❤️

Something or the other is fixed anyways before a launch (especially fixing teeth and other minor stuff). Priyanka ji said someone associated with her film told her to 'fix' stuff but she didn't but she looks different.. People do differ a little as they age but here they were specifically mentioning that She looked drastically different as she grew older which she didn't. That's the only reason for my post.. She's a terrific actress who does manage to look good even when they make her wear terrible clothes and that's mostly because of her personality.. So she deserves a little more respect other than a supposed fact that she lost most of her beauty as she grew older which I still think is not true. N by the way no heroine or hero for that matter looks the same in ten or fifteen years (some not even in 5 years)n Jaby ,Karan Johar was worried about her weight n asked her to get into shape before the movie (it's there in her or his interview about the movie..not about the colour of her skin).

Only 3 actresses of her time is still real but you all have jealous hate for them so I will not mention their names....Today, Rani is the least attractive when put with all the other actresses of her time, plastic or not, made up or not and she’s always in makeup....Have seen them all together occasionally at funerals and kiddie parties. Of course in films, she’ll lose weight and they’ll make her look good as they do for everyone else.

Black is an amazing film she did and did method acting for that, although everyone criticises dil bole hadippa cos it's a cliche story, it was my childhood guilty pleasure I loved watching, its cute n lighthearted and rewatchable like kuch kuch hota hain, also people always criticised her for not fitting into beauty standards or something but I thought rani was one of the prettiest and talented actresses, she has really good movies and karan even said she was really hard-working and always read or memorised dances and scripts earlier than everyone else; she seems humble n hard-working to me at least

Rani had a rollercoaster career she almost vanished after kuch kuch hota hai as most of her movies flopped from 98-2002 it was with chalte chalte and saathiya she gained popularity and then with hum tum and black she was established as a star and a brilliant actress, she hasn't looked back since. I actually like the srk-rani paring more than i like the srk-kajol pairing. They just have more chemistry in my opinion and it's easy to see in films like Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Paheli, and Chalte Chalte (the movie where jaby bet srk rejected rani but srk was actually chasing her in the movie lmao). Even in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai even though they don't end up together, I still think his chemistry with Rani was far superior than his chemistry with Kajol in that movie.

You guys were right about rani mukherjee not being the first choice for the role of tina in kkhh.I read somewhere that kjo approached a lot of other actresses before thinking about rani.I don't think it was because he thought Rani Mukherjee was not pretty but because rani had only done few movies at the time and an experienced actress was needed to play tina because kjo felt ,the role although short would make a deep impact in the movie.apparently karishma kapoor(an established actress at the time) was approached for the role first but she rejected it stating that the character has lesser screen time and that she dies in the movie.other actresses who were approached also rejected it stating the same reason.Then rani was approached and she accepted it and played it so well that it instantly catapulted her to fame and also helped her gain a lot of other projects.she went on to become one of the most talented actresses in bollywood.

Ta Ra rum pum is a movie that is super emotional. It's one of my favourite movies. The casting was perfect for that movie. It also is about racing. And I think you can equate SRK and Kajol's pairing to Aamir and Juhi.

Naah Rani Aamir were great in Ghulam , Mann, Mangal pandey and Talaash. They were to be paired in Lagaan as well but Rani had date issues as she was a very busy actress in 2000's
