Agreed, It's a little trick the tories use that we mortals call lying. They say what is required to keep their scam in place. They are censoring us, silencing us, gaslighting us and trying to remove our right to protest, right to strike and trying to make sweeping reforms to human rights in general. Also, electoral reforms to keep them in place while employing voter suppression. National action is needed.

Seems like Sunak has been taking lying lessons of his predecessors - Capt BoJo Johnson et al. He simply does not have an honest word within him. Take for example what he says on the NHS. To hear him speak one would think that his parents were front line practitioner staff such as nurses. The truth is that his father, Kenya-born Yashvir, worked as an NHS GP, while his mother, Usha, who original comes from Tanzania, runs Southampton’s Bassett pharmacy. So his father would be earning about £. about £100,000 pa (some GP' earn up to £200,000pa, can't say if this was Sunak's dad's income though) whilst his mum would be earning about £85,000 pa. The Sunak family income would therefore have been jointly over £150,000 and possibly as much as £300,000. Not exactly the median average £33,000 earned by a front line nurse. Nor are the working terms and conditions of a GP or a community pharmacist, those of a front line hospital worker e.g a nurse on a ward not being able to stop work e.g. for a break, for 12 hours plus. Nor does being a GP and a pharmacist in a community chemist store expose the workers to the same pressures as those working in a busy NHS hospital. It isn't difficult to see, given more and more of the actual facts, how Sunak is twisting and manipulating the truth for his own ends. He gives out a small amount of truth and uses that to carry a significant untruth. In this example attempting to say he understands the NHS because his parents both worked in the NHS is at best a bending of the truth, more probably a blatant lie. This is just one example of Sunak and his (i.e. the Tory) government persistently lie and twist the truth to deceive the public for their own political ends and benefit. This is just one example of how this Tory government works and misleads us all. As we research the other things that the Tories say, we find ever increasing levels of lies and deception. As most of us are aware, Sunak has a background as a banker. He personifies the saying "you can never trust a banker!" They are just so far from being acquainted with the truth.

In 2016 there were less than 2000 asylum seekers crossing the channel each year, and his bullshit party promised to reduce that alegedly oh-so-terrible number (even though it's a small number compared to other countries) by leaving the EU. Now that number has increased to nearly 50,000 each year (!!!!!), after his party has deliberately closed all the safe routes for most asylum seekers coming to the UK (whilst simultaneously only processing 4% of them which is appalling), and here they are promising to fix it again. They are deliberately creating these problems, and then pretending to be the ones who can fix them.....and they're doing it over and over again......and the stupid British public just keep falling for it again and again. I'm sorry but I despise the voting public just as much as the politicians. People in this country seriously need to learn how to use basic critical thinking skills, and figure out how to fact check really obvious bullshit. I'm so sick to death of watching the whole country get scammed by really obvious liars and crooks year after bloody year. ps. Sorry for the extended rant, but this has gone on for years. I'm not saying anything here is wrong per se. But alot of the buzz at the moment is you can't keep giving it more. Or the budget went up. And I heard the other day it's because of a few thousand who came on boats. News flash. People have sex in the UK. Born and bred here. We are a population of 60 mil + 20 years ago it was 45 mil. More people means more money every year is needed to keep the same level. Not hold steady. You think bezos got where he did by just putting in the same amount of money each year and never upping it. More staff needed in the NHS but people miss the point, it's because there's more of us. Our family has grown this year, no one died and 1 born so that's one more for the GP just from us.

Also the world, the west, us, however you want to put it, are getting sicker. There's plenty of good authors, professors and leading research in the physiology world to show that right now, with the amount of processed crap we are shoveling into us. We are getting more and more sicker. Sicker this year than last. Sicker than 20 years ago, sicker that 100 years ago. More people with sickness and long term health issues again needs more resource. Yes they may say oh we plough in an extra £1 billion this year but that's only £100 quid per each person living here extra. Also wasn't brexit meant to give 18.2 billion extra per year to NHS... Red bus? Just give this year's brexit bonus to all the nurses. Done

Tell us Native English Paul, how would you have public sector wages raised in the U.K.? Raise taxes, borrow the money, or print it out of thin air? I'm honestly interested in your answer. In case you were unaware, almost every government employee gets a defined benefit indexed pension, unbelievably generous benefits, much earlier retirements than private sector workers, much higher starting wages than private sector workers, etc. etc. I suggest that if public sector employees want higher wages, they go into the private sector and start their own businesses and stand on their own two feet. I have no respect for unmotivated public sector employees that think the world owes them a living, and feel entitled to constantly escalating wages and benefits that have no relationship to their efficiency. Extorting your wage and benefits from spineless politicians through belligerent unions is not something that people who actually face economic reality have any respect for.
@nativeenglishpaul2836

@@supermash1 getting public sector workers to go into the private sector isn't a solution. That's already happening, it just makes the situation worse. We already have 130k vacancies in NHS. If they all leave we'll have no NHS. Private sector employers pay more because they actually negotiate with the unions to avoid or end strikes. Since you asked I would implement a fairer tax system that actually taxes the super rich with a wealth tax that taxes assets rather than earnings.
