Roads are gud but in mid August due to rains there might be landslides on this route, So plan your trip only after seeing the weather forecast

There will be no snow in Auli in mid april...Yes it's totally safe you can go....You can go by your own car or by bus

Bro even i am planning to do road trip of Uttarakhand, we r planning to start from Dehradun. Is it risky to drive there? Last year we did road trip of North East, where we travelled Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh. We didn't find problem anywhere, but after Sela Pass there was black ice and there were many accidents of car there. Driving was bit difficult in that patch. How is driving in Uttarakhand?
