Discover the Rising Giants! How BRICS Is Redrawing the World Map. Explore the remarkable journey of the BRICS nations and their growing coalition, BRICS+.
Learn how the BRICS nations are changing the global political landscape and challenging Western dominance in "Rising Giants! How BRICS Is Redrawing the World Map." This engaging video goes deep into the geopolitical shifts that have been set in motion by the expansion of BRICS. It also looks at how this is affecting global governance and economic stability. It looks at some of the key issues, like the impact of the New Development Bank, international trade practices, and the development of a multipolar world order.
The video discusses how BRICS is steering global economic power away from Western economic dominance, advocating for developing countries' rights, and fostering global cooperation initiatives. It illustrates the bloc's strategic moves to enhance economic partnerships and resilience, promoting a fairer distribution of global resources. This narrative is crucial for understanding the evolving dynamics of international relations and the global economy.
However, the video does not cover certain limitations and internal challenges within the BRICS bloc, such as specific economic disparities among its members or a detailed analysis of the cultural exchanges that influence these geopolitical relationships. It also omits an in-depth critique of the sustainability of their economic models in the face of global financial pressures and the strategic positions of potential new members. These aspects are vital for fully grasping the complexities and sustainability of BRICS' ambitions on the global stage.

I see BRICS+ creating a more equitable, fair world, based on respect and a 'win-win' situation for all countries involved! My God, Russia and China come into a country offering help, and actually build rail ines, industry and energy, hospitals and schools.....the US comes in and builds a military base and proceeds to destroy everything in the country and neighborhood! Just look at their track record! Go BRICS+

It's only my opinion, I strongly believe that every individual worldwide deserves equal rights across all aspects of life, be it economic, diplomatic, or social privileges. This principle of equality should extend from the most impoverished regions of Africa to the wealthiest nations like America. I see the BRICS nations as a potential avenue for realizing this vision. By fostering cooperation and mutual respect, they can pave the way for global peace and prosperity. It's my sincere hope that through collaborative efforts rooted in peace and order, we can collectively strive towards a world where every human being is afforded dignity and opportunity.

Imagine the sharing of ideas about what they see as a positive, cooperative future! The BRICS games are also coming up. In 2012 When I was in US ARMY SPECIAL OPERATION FORCES Training i gave the Pointpoint presentation that I titled "Currency Warfare", in which I highlighted BRICS and the DEVELOPMENT BANK. 12 years later my predictions came true. I love.my country (USA), But my time in the US Army, and hindesight i have come to terms that the US is evil. The things we do to foreign countries, is evil. One example is a Special Operation team operating in a Sovereign country gets into a fire fight, then occupies a living quarters with a family and the man of the house doesnt know whats happening get angry, US Special Forces will and do kill him so they can safely continue with their mission. That guy had nothing to do with it. Thats just one common example.

This shift is not only promising but also essential for the betterment of our world. Collaborative efforts like those within the BRICS group hold immense potential. If these nations unite with a shared vision for peace and stability, it could herald a new era of global harmony. Such unity would not only benefit developing and underdeveloped countries but also pave the way for a more peaceful world for all.

Why BRICS invariably is the counter model to the US Empire 2/2 Ideology is the very wrapping and glue that amalgamates empires. Ideologies are the common denominator and strategic control band that ensures aligned thinking and acting across the empire which often stretches over vast distances. The EU for example nurtures a ideological framework of abstract ideas, such as values or rules which cannot be falsified but are used to ensure alignment of all entities and individuals. The imperial model thus is very hierarchical and top down and evolves ever more centralistically. This has two effects: it drivers ever more mono-directional thinking and monopolistic markets. This quickly reduces diversity in thought and thus reduction of innovation and development. I.e. Empires always quickly and inevitably become monopolistic and totalitarian. That then in the end accelerates their decay. Empires dissolve and new empires form based on the old fragments. However, the model and the life cycle is identical. The Soviet Empire was no different and its ideology was very centralised, standardised and thus totalitarian. Diversity was reduced and the innovation rate brought down. The Soviet Empire’s more monopolistic structure brought it down faster than the Capitalist Empires of France, Britain and now the US. In fact competing empires prolonged their lives as this competition limited and compensated monopolistic inefficiencies. This explains why after 1990 with the dissolution of the only competing imperial model, the Soviet Union, the US empire’s innovation rate quickly collapsed and the US even lost the ability to access space for a decade. BRICS is no empire model. There are balancing forces making up the pillars of BRICS with competing views and ideas. BRICS is something new. It is collaborative which is a natural law and benefit yet not hierarchically structured like an empire. It has no Hegemon. It is an ideology minimised global collaboration platform. The only two ideas that it is based on is: that all states are equally sovereign and that that UN law only applies in inter-state collaboration and that the Ricardo principle of comparative natural advantages of nations should be the basis of collaboration and innovative competition. No values, no religion and no abstract ideologies. The BRICS model is based on egalitarianism. And that is new. As laid out at the beginning, there will be self-organised sub-systems etc, and this is why great attention is paid to its mechanisms. It must not become imperial in character and function, as that would limit its life-span and value. However, and that is the conclusion: BRICS is not only an alternative but of course competitive, and that is a good thing even for the last European type empire under US control. By introducing a competing collaboration model the US empire will be forced in parts to relativate some of its monopolistic characteristics. This will prolong the US empire’s life cycle by one or two decades but not much longer. Eventually BRICS will showcase that nations will experience much more progress much more rapidly as BRICS members than as part of an empire, or alone in the world, as no Soviet Union could protect them from the sole Hegemon that acted unchecked over the past three decades. BRICS can easily double the global innovation rate and that rate will be far more evenly spread across many countries generating a huge wealth surge over the next 5 decades. So, no matter the niceties of the BRICS countries, BRICS is a new and competitive collaboration model and platform for nations with much higher wealth creation potential for all not just the golden billion.

In recent times, there has been a noticeable trend of American interventionism, where the pursuit of war and economic interests seem to intertwine. BRICS, seeking to challenge Western dominance in global affairs within systems and structures predominantly shaped by colonial powers. Economically, they engage in global trade and finance systems established under colonial influence, such as the World Bank and IMF. Despite advocating for reforms, these institutions still reflect colonial ideologies and power dynamics. Politically, the UN Security Council remains largely unchanged since its post-WWII formation, favoring former colonial powers. BRICS nations advocate for reforms to better represent the current geopolitical landscape. Culturally, Western influence persists, exemplified by English's dominance in international business and media's shaping of global narratives. BRICS' efforts to reform these systems indicate a pursuit of a more equitable and inclusive international order. So therefore I do not stand in unity I do not support government who support old paradigms
@ThinkBRICS
@ThinkBRICS 20 күн бұрын
Hey there! Appreciate your comment and the thought you've put into it. You're touching on a pretty complex topic, and it's understandable to have concerns about supporting institutions that seem rooted in outdated paradigms. But here's the thing: while it's true that BRICS nations are working to reform systems shaped by colonial powers, it's a delicate process. Rushing into major changes could risk destabilizing already vulnerable nations, as Minister Pandor rightly points out regarding Africa's dedollarization. However, that doesn't mean BRICS are just sitting back and accepting the status quo. Far from it! They're actively pushing for a more balanced global order, one where multiple voices are heard and respected. This whole concept of multipolarity challenges the dominance of the old guard. Instead of throwing in the towel, why not join the conversation? Your perspective could add valuable insights and help shape the future direction of these reforms. It's all about working together to build a fairer, more inclusive world. So, let's keep the dialogue going!

Argentina should never be allowed back into the BRICS again after their pull-out

International relations are more nuanced than private. The BRICS doors are still open for Argentina. The BRICS is not a closed organization but an association of states; whether Argentina wants to be a protagonist of the future or a gregarious of more powerful nations is only its choice. Same as for Saudi.

@@ThinkBRICSArgentinia probably joins after the next election Javier would be deeply unpopular if he isn’t already and Saudi Arabia might be trying too get more concessions before Brics like the security tech transfer deal with US but I know US won’t do it unless Saudi recognizes Israel. Saudi might recognize israel in future which shows they don’t care about Palestinians

Why BRICS invariably is the counter model to the US Empire 1/2 There is a lot of talk that BRICS is not an alternative model and against anyone or any bloc. This certainly is an important political representation, but it is not how it is and will be. BRICS is a complex system that is being created and that now transitions into an abstract self-awareness. Not consciousness, as we have it with animal brains, but an abstract physical will to survive and evolve. Features and characteristics all complex systems show. These complex systems become self-organizing and self-aligning and become hard to control directly and evolutionary mechanisms need to be built in from the beginning so they can be guided. One of the primary features of complex systems is their expansionist nature and the inherent drive to seek ever more and cheaper energies to secure their own survival. As we have limited resources in any confined space concurrently existing systems immediately begin to compete for resources. They are competitive. Based on these known mechanisms of complex systems we can now say something about BRICS and the US empire. The US empire obviously is a much older system and off-shoot of the British empire still older yet. Comparing the two systems will give us an idea how they will compete. The imperial model is based on a strict hierarchical structure. At the top there always is a Hegemon, be that Rome, Constantinople, Spain, England, France or the US. Underneath follow sub-domains. The value of the domains and the control over them is a function of three key dimensions: spatial and cultural distance from the Hegemon as well as absolute resource value. Domains are further structured in colonies and dependencies. The EU for example is a domain of the US empire and its constituent countries are under dual parallel control of the EU and the Hegemon itself. A colony is defined by not being sovereign and having to accept decisions which clearly run against the direct interest of the inhabitants of the colony. A colony has no representation with the Hegemon. E.g. Germany is not represented in the US senate or congress. Furthermore, the EU commission is not elected by the people of Europe but selected through an untransparent process. The business model of an empire is very simple: the Hegemon seeks a 5% free rent from its colonies. Thomas Piketty et al proved this value in their seminal work in 2012. Rome for example was utterly dependent on Egypt to feed its population. Large 600 ton grain ship fleets were constantly running between Egypt and Rome. Every complex system consists of course of systems withing systems, and the most important one is the establishment system. It consists of all entities which disproportionally benefit from the over-all system, and therefore has the strongest incentive to preserve and expand it. Complex systems in general form as overall they can produce more value than the fragmented constituents if they lived in isolation. Complex systems are businesses too, which become profitable through specialization. The big question of course is which system is more beneficial to its constituents and not just to a small establishment layer. Which system can produce more, and more egalitarian benefits for all its ccomponents. The imperial models are very old and they basically had one USP: it is better to live as a colony in an empire than alone in the free and wild world. But this argument only says: it is better to collaborate than to stay alone. And that is supported by nature as nature constantly creates more complex collaborative systems not least of all multi-cellular life. During the empire of Rome, the USP was Pax Romana: basically, to live under Rome’s peace. These empire models were the only higher-level systems beyond states that existed. States are of course no empires, because people, more or less, have control over their nations, ultimately through revolution (1789, 1848,1917,…). Colonies have definitely no control over important strategic decisions and actions (Nordstream 2 blow up in 2022). Empires have internal hierarchies such as the G7, and lots of controlling institutions such as NATO and a fleet of ideology shaping institutions such as think tanks and strategic councils.

Argentina is a dumping ground of excess USD after its de-dollarization. Illegals entering USA will absorb more of these dumped USDs. Bitcoin will be the important factor as its owners will get a treatment which gold owners got from FDR after World war2😂😂😂

Actually there is no contest between US/G7 and BRICS nations. BRICS nations are nations that they don't want a reserve US dollars and being controlled by it or stolen or at US mercy for blackmailing. The rest of things remain unchange or normal.

Common currency to reward mainly one country in BRICS so saying that the dollar is bad does not solve anything because no one has any better proposals and just as many southern countries would suffer if the dollar, for example, was replaced by the Chinese currency

Is it me, or is the statement by the South African foreign minister perplexing? She said BRICS don't want to become so big that people think it's an ALTERNATIVE to world institutions. Whattt? Wasn't BRICS created because the so-called Global South has never been treated fairly by sub-arctic western euro-led institutions of the world? The so-called world institutions she keeps harping about have never prompted actual economic growth of the Global South. Sub-arctic western euros only promote parasitic capitalism and austerity measures so their western corporations can buy up strategic sectors of developing nations' economies for pennies on the dollar. The imf and workd bank have never prompted conducive infrastructure and win-win cooperation. I'm iffy about BRICS; there are too many divisions and too many influences and trust of sub-arctic western institutions.

It's understandable to have reservations about BRICS, given the complexities involved. However, it's important to acknowledge the diversity of perspectives within the group. Anil Sooklal's insights shed light on BRICS' original intention, to amplify the voice of the Global South on the world stage, not to antagonize existing institutions. The South African foreign minister's statement underscores the importance of BRICS complementing, not supplanting, global institutions like the UN. If we view cooperation through the lens of respecting national identities, we can foster a more inclusive and equitable dialogue. While criticisms of existing institutions are valid, promoting unity within BRICS and constructive engagement with global bodies can lead to more impactful outcomes for the Global South.
