Rather it's a TOTK moment, not a Zelda moment. It's the first time that Nintendo gives us an epic sequence and moment such as the ascent to the Temple of the Wind that had not existed in any other Zelda game.

I love how the normal cold theme is integrated in a higher pitch here, as you gradually climb into the eye of the storm. Also this section kinda feels like a bit of a mini-dungeon, no?

That's the définition of a dungeon. There is 2 pièce of Heart to gather in it (sanctuary), that's the Epiphany of a Zelda dungeon

To me, this has been the most memorable sequence in the game. I’m almost done with it but I expect it won’t change. I just remember how cool the ascent was and noting how the music changed dramatically as you got higher. It was truly amazing and felt like a true Zelda adventure

Okay, everything about this theme gives me chills and chicken skin, pun intended. The hollow, lonely sounds of the first section. The violent blustering of the tempest in the second section. The twisted mocking of the Attack on Vah Medoh in the third. And the Skydive. Nintendo and Monolith heard we were talking smack about Breath of the Wild's music and then decided to pull out ALL the stops.

If you notice by listening to the third phase of the theme itself, it’s very faint, but very apparent: you can easily hear Blizzeta’s soundtrack/boss theme a bit near the start of phase 3 (Blizzeta being the Ice Temple/Snowpeak Ruins boss of Twilight Princess)

i honestly regret doing the wind temple first, because the music set the bar so incredibly high that i feel like it should've been the end of my journey around the four areas :") even just this song feels like a finale by the time the skydive kicks in

The music, atmosphere and context of wind temples feels so climatic in every Zelda game ! I wanted to do Vah'Medoh last in BOTW because the setting looked so epic, I thought it had to be my final divine beast and IT DIDN'T MISSED ! Same thing for TOTK, same payoff 😌

I really like how the whole track implements other musical motifs from the game, like the cold air soundtrack at the beginning, and the skydiving melody and a remixed "new location" jingle at the end.

I also stumbled upon it on my way to Rito Village, but it didn’t take me long before I was stumped on where to go next and ultimately decided to move on… It really makes me wish there were more unique sky islands that weren’t part of the main quests.

It will probably be an unpopular opinion, but i generally preferred BotW over TotK for several reasons. However this right here, is an incredible piece of music fit for an indescribable moment, especially starting 4:24. Having played this sequence is already enough to have made the whole game completely worth it.

A thought... All this work with the unofficial TOTK OST is to try and recreate what the official one will be until we get one, correct? I think on the official, we'll get one more part added to this track here. Between "Above A Passage Skyward" and "Wind Temple Skydive," one more piece plays once you get above the blizzard. It's calm, and very much fits a sunrise as you peacefully gaze at the entirety of Hyrule Kingdom before diving headfirst into the Great Hebra Stormcloud. What are your thoughts on this? Do you think this unofficial track should be edited or stay the same?

It is an official track, it is the first part of the Wind Temple - Skydive theme. It smoothly transitions into the main Wind Temple - Skydive theme when you finally enter the storm cloud.
