I couldn't focus on the video because you didn't start by saying: "let's crack open this chart". 😂 In all seriousness, great job and it is much appreciated.

I told him about your channel , Then I watch this video , out f’ing standing. . Today I told him to check out this vid and forget about what I was going to show him at the moment . And to check out the other T.A. Vid to set up his chart . Bro, No one else makes vids to this level of detail. Great information ! Love the daily’s also , I use the f out of your price action and literally learned a lot more watching your vids than any other you tuber , no shit , . Do you use s 2 close rule for change in direction ? Also what method do you use for options ? I’ve been trading them for 3 years , but always want to learn more. Well thanks for all you do, keep keeping on 👍

This is how i use to approach stocks, and as methodical, well planed as it may seem it is simply to satisfy itchy fingers and is not a good long term investing strategy as you are constantly trying to time the market. Do this in a separate account with moderate to high risk stocks for entertainment. But always hold a well balanced account which only needs maintenance every quarter. Then you can actually compare performance and see if such active management really pays off, hint: it does not

I been selling SPY put sore spreads for the past 5 years since the mini bear market ended. I sell puts a month out. I sell the put 2% out the money and buy a put that is 3% out the money. I sell one spread a week. I can usually roll out and be okay. Sometimes I take the max loss. I switched to butterflies for awhile I buy an at the money put debit and sell 3 out the money put debits. The butterflies was more effort than it was worth.

I follow what he is saying, but I always seem to find it easier to just look at the moving averages and just trade based on if they have turned up or down. I think it is basically coming from the same basic price action, but I have no definite exit point, just let it go until the trend changes.

is the 1 to 1.5 Risk Reward a RATIO or an actual % The first example stop loss @ 7:32 was 2.22% stop loss?
@thestockschannel3 жыл бұрын
The ratio is always 1.5 to 1 but for each trade you take the % gain and loss will vary. The important part is to remain consistent on position sizing and risk/reward.
@CSM-682 жыл бұрын
@@thestockschannel Using E*Trade, fractional share selling is not allowed. This would make it difficult to pull profit or get out of the trade at minimal loss. If I started with 100 shares and then use the 1% = to 1 share, I might be able to make it work. Think I will try this as paper trade this senario. Thanks for the "Educational Material"

Great examples, efficient explanation, thank you! I guess my question is can you do this while having a day-job most of the week? kind of?...
@thestockschannel3 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can set your stop loss and your limit sell as soon as you place a trade as a "good til cancelled" order, then let it run and it will close out for a profit or loss without any assistance from you.
