Yeah, he got hit once didn't you see? It protected him from 193 points of damager before being gone. Then he got hit by 1216 points of damage in one single frame. Balanced as usual.

no theres another fireball of a elder lemurian behind him that killed him, it wasn't just the spikes landing on him. At this stage in the game the spikes aren't capable of that amount of damage as literally seen in the video when he runs into it, the fireball from the elder lemurian does deal plenty enough to kill after the protection is lost from the spike

PSG didnt matter there, they had full health and OSP. Their death was because they took a first hit from the AOE of the spike landing, then ran into the spike finishing them off. If you don't take PSG because you're worried that you won't get OSP, you fail to realize how many attacks can bypass OSP by doing damage twice- or the fact that OSP doesn't give you any I-Frames so it becomes inconsequential PSG good :3
