Been watching Brad's videos for several years and enjoy them very much.. There are others I like too.. (Rampage, Boski etc..) But just a couple weeks ago I realized that as much as I enjoy all of these You Tube Poker Vloggers, Brad's video's are helping me with my game.. For whatever reason, his videos serve just as much as a tutorial for me as they are entertaining, never a bad combo. Thanks Bradley!!

I think that fold with pocket tens is underrated. Especially given how crushed you’ve been getting all session. A lot of players would tilt call there knowing they can still win if the board pairs. Nice fold brad
@julianhodgson19613 ай бұрын
Absolutely agree - flop a monster and then turn the worse card in the deck - it would just be so easy to make a quick tilt call there but Brad is now far too good/disciplined for that - been watching the journey/vlogs right from the start - it’s been a fun ride 😀🖖
@mntwinsfan19883 ай бұрын
This, extremely good fold given the run bad prior.
@rumplestillskin89442 ай бұрын
4 ways with 3rd set?? I thought he took to long to fold…..you know at least I person has nut flush draw and another has 2 pair, a lot of your outs are dead and your odds to pair the board are slim and may not even be good if it does pair. People who say “I just can’t fold a set” is the people who pay pros rent and utilities monthly. Brad doesn’t fold enough…lol. But this one was no brainer!😊
@nicholi27892 ай бұрын
@@rumplestillskin8944 It's not just the fold on it's face that I was commenting on. You're right, from an unemotional point of view it was a straightforward fold. It was all the circumstances leading up to it that really made it an impressive fold to me. He'd been getting wrecked all night, getting best handed all night, down heaps, and finally flops a set in a lucrative multiway spot. It's so easy to be tilted and talk yourself into a call in those spots sometimes, especially with cards to come still. Every poker player has done it. Brad's ability to stay composed and still lay it down is what I found impressive. Even if it is a required skill for a seasoned pro.

@owenwaters-ducharme39253 ай бұрын
@chadlevitan7886 that's not my point. This is Brad Owen's video. Rampage has nothing to do with it, and instead of simply completing Brad, you drag Rampage as well. I'm not particularly loyal to anyone. I enjoy both of them, but I notice this trend of just hating on Ethan, and it's very weird and loser like to me. The guy lost a mill in cash last year and is up a quarter that this year. Definitely has a ways to go but has been crushing in tournaments and all around playing better poker. Maybe if you said something funny or something, it wouldn't come off, so lame to me, but my opinion dosnt matter anyways

Hey Brad, big fan of the Vlog. I missed your appearance at the Lodge in SA, but I went to my first freezeout tournament yesterday (7/31) and shockingly made the final table. I couldn't believe the hands I was getting and the calls I was right to call on. I attribute a lot of my success to studying your vlogs in the past few months as idle entertainment while I'm playing online. Keep up the great work, and I hope to catch you at the Lodge at some point!

@8:40 Making it 5k over 2k feels a little small when it's leaving over 8k behind, and while knowing your hand is too strong to do anything but double him up when he hits. Maybe +3k is enough to make his turn call mathematically incorrect for a naked flush draw with tainted outs, but he could easily have some combo draw where he'd be priced in given the implied odds. It's a small difference, but I probably would have gone a hair over 3x his bet amount. I guess one concern about what I said might be how do you keep that balanced and not give off sizing tells when you have some lower-strength holding that could conceivably get away on some bad rivers, but turn 3 bets (especially in live play, especially against an opponent you are not playing daily) probably don't happen often enough for you to worry about being exploited.
@marko5143 ай бұрын
Exactly my thoughts. Folding with a flush draw for such small price is incorrect

@troublelessone79993 ай бұрын
Brad.. great game as always. Been following your strategy for quite some time. I noticed that it's better to bet even with a low pairs and all Aces pre-flop or on the flop. Lately I will bet any pair even when over cards are on the flop. You might get called but at least you know where you stand instead of having to guess on the turn, when the opponent wants to bet. It tends to get Opponents to believe you have the top pair when betting and increases the chance of the table folding before the turn. No where near your level of games that you buy in for, but tend to end most nights averaging 5-10x buy in. Thanks to you, I'm learning that winning more hands instead of building the pots that go to the river, improve my overall win streak. My VPIP adjust down after achieving 3x, Then I work to build pots once I'm 3x my buy-in and only play strong hands in late positions. Been watching since your first vlog here.. you've come so far and glad to see you're still in it.
