Michael A. Dragonetti, Founder and President of Dragon Rescue Management, is a 20-year veteran firefighter with the Stamford (CT) Fire Department assigned to Rescue Company 1. He is a certified fire service instructor in New York and Connecticut and has presented courses in elevator operations at the Department of New York Technical Rescue School (2002-2005) and has delivered instruction at FDIC (2003-2010). Prior to developing and teaching “Handling Elevator Emergencies” in 1999, Dragonetti had extensive experience in the NYC metropolitan area with constructing, modernizing, maintaining, and repairing elevators and escalators with one of the largest elevator companies in the world.
