I really love that photo too. You are correct about the movie being You Were Never Lovelier, but that picture is from a rehearsal of the dance which is seen in the film. They do look like they are having a lot of fun!!

I really love how pure she looks at 1:40. Here natural beauty really shines there; so candid. And can you reply and tell me from what movie is the shot of her with Fred Astaire at 2:16, jumping. I believe it's from "You Were Never Lovelier" but I'm not sure. They look like they're having SO much fun!

@et7waage1 I wish that she had written one too. Ah, her response was really sad. I would find her book interesting whether other people did or didn't because it is Rita speaking about her life. I agree that she was a very private person. I don't think she would have been comfortable talking about herself either. I know, her Alzheimer's would have gotten in the way of her writing, for certain. It's all a shame to think about.

@MMfan1997 Yes, it must have been horrible to find something out like that when you are carrying a child with the man that you love. She was a very sad woman, because there were so many terrible events and things that happened to her. Another one, that I think really changed and affected her, was that when she was a dancer in her teenager years, her father supposedly sexually molested her!! I have so much sympathy for Rita.

@Rtmax45 That is all so true, sadly. Another terrible thing that happened to her was that when she was pregnant while married to Orson Welles, she found out that he was cheating on her!! What a dreadful thing to find out for yourself. It's really too bad.
