Your demo is very informative. I particularly found the information you added regarding changes and lifting the pastel helpful. Lifting color is common in watercolor but I haven't seen this method for with pastel. it is very efficient and doesn't lift a dust cloud like dry brushing off! The painting is warm, charming and beautifully done. Kudos.

Very enjoyable and informative.. Thanks Rita..I have tried you underpainting system using fine pumice gel... on watercolour paper... And it worked pretty good.. Thanks..I don't have much choices of sanded pastel papers in India.. This has really opened up the options for me... And your quin nickel azo yellow... Is a lovely warm background that works with nearly everything.. Every subject
