Soy argentino, nacido en Paraná. A la vera del río que esta bellìsima canción de Fandermole nombra. He escuchado miles de buenísimas versiones de este tema (Nahuel Pennisi, Soledad Pastorutti, Ana Guerra, Pedro Ríos, entre otros...). El rio a que hace mención esta hermosa canción es el Paraná. El mismo nace en Brasil y desemboca en el Rio de La Plata luego de recorrer más de 4500Km. Sus aguas son marrones y lleva un caudal de 17300 m3/seg. en épocas normales. La interpretación de estas dos mujeres es, según mi gusto, de primera. Saludos desde la Argentina.

Este tema de Fandermole es un clásico aquí en Argentina, y tiene muchas versiones. Pero esta es de una belleza increíble!!! La dulzura de Rita, la guitarra mágica de Elisabeth, el dúo que componen en el estribillo, más el cuatro que suma Rita, es delicioso!! Muy buena ejecución desde la mirada de la guitarra clásica. Pero esta canción es una litoraleña, tiene ritmo de chamamé, que es música del río Paraná, y cundo hace los rasgueos, realmente suena sumamente extraño al oído sudamericano, porque nadie en todo el continente toca de esa manera, el freseo e otro completamente diferente. El cruzado del chamamé es un poliritmo y el movimiento de los dedos de la mano derecha es exactamente el inverso. Una curiosidad.

The problem with these computer translations is that so much gets lost, or is wrong. For example, it's not "Christ of the networks", but "Christ of the nets". (this is, after all, a fisherman's song!) There's probably a dozen more other changes I'd make, unfortunately I don't have the time. But to be fair, there is value to having Google translate it: it's super fast and gives you a quick read on the subject. I've done it myself, from Catalan and Portuguese. You just have to take any of those translations with a large grain of salt!

Elisabeth is such a beautiful person in so many different ways. Loved the subtle low harmonies.
