Love my Kyotes. I've put some old school bullhorn bar ends on the bends. They work as little aerobars. The whole of the bars are covered in foam grips and then bar tape over the top. It feels a lot like the hoods of a road bike. Thanks for the video, I wanted to know the direct comparison between the two. Looks like a good excuse to do some shopping. Thanks .

The Corralitos bar was a game changer for riding a gravel bike for me.

That bar looks super good...nice and wide with a very shallow drop probably makes for a confident ride on dirt.

I put the Kyote on my wife’s hybrid/all Road bike. it had a very straight flat bar and caused her wrist and elbow pain. Just for the comfort alone it’s a very good option. I also put Q lab inner barends on and she loves it.

Nice video! The shapes of these bars look too exaggerated for my liking, but I'm definitely eyeballing the Ritchey Comp Trail 10D Rizer, that looks pretty interesting, definitely unique.

Good stuff, if anyone from Ritchey sees this, get some Buzzard bars over to the UK! I know at least 4 people after a set, and I know that number probably doesn't blow your skirt up, but whenever they are in stock at places like SJS Cycles, they sell out immediately. I had to import mine from Velo Store Europe for eighty quid which is a bit of a bummer, but still better than getting a second mortgage out for something like the Moloko bars... 😃

I just put a pair of Kyote's on my Mayor this morning. I can't say much as I only have a couple loops around the yard on them but they seem promising.

Try the Salsa Bend Bar 2. Been exclusively riding those for years. Have them on all my bikes and all are rigid. It successfully maintains the feel/control of a flat bar but is totally natural for your wrists….I just wish they would make it in carbon.

Hello. When swapping from traditional flat bars to these with a sweep do I need to consider stem's length? Like get a new one shorter or longer perhaps?

It’s going to depend on the bike and fit, but on bikes designed for drop bars you’ll probably want a longer stem when switching to flat bars.

I like the way you set up the kyote for multiple hand positions. Came here for that. can you still reach the levers when you're out wide?

I can’t reach them in the farthest out position, but I use that spot more for comfort than control and use a little more inward with my fingers on the control for faster, more technical stuff.

I have the buzzard on an old El Mariachi, to get some sweep and mainly rise. For the first couple weeks they weren't working at for me. Turns out they are just a little too wide, cutting them down 15m on each side makes them feel pretty good but that's as far in as I could go with the shortened grip area. I'd have probably been better off with something like the kyote or something else with some upsweep.

If the bars were mine, I probably would've done the same and trimmed them down because I think it would make a big difference. The only issue with that is I love having super long grips to move my hands around, but I think the extra rise can help a lot with that anyway.

The bars at top in the thumbnail look like Shadow vessels from Babylon 5. That alone must be worth something.

Thanks much. Had the Kyote, was considering Buzzard. Looks like I can skip it....the kyote is already wayyyyyyyyyy too wide for me, although it genuinely is comfy for pavement too and for long road rides too.

The Buzzard is a great bar, but if you feel like the Kyote is too wide then I don't know if the Buzzard would be a great fit (unless of course you're wanting more stack!).

You can always cut your bars down, as well.
