As a man who preferred the company of men to women, the escape offered by disco was so downright healthy and fulfilling, words can't describe. Like Dick Clark was asked, "What was your favorite genre of music...he replied without hesitation...Disco!"... I can only concur. HAVE a blessed another hundred years, and I will be listening too... This is what people who are now in their 60s listened to as teenagers…I know I did….This has the summer of 1976 ALL OVER IT! I first heard this playing on the boardwalk in Coney Island….People were dancing to it like crazy! I ran out and bought the album in Manhattan at a place called: “Downstairs Records”.

I believe time is an illusion. If someone wanted to fire up vintage multi track tape machines and produce this kind of music it could absolutely be done. It might be a commercial waste of time but who cares? I think the hardest part of recording this songs is that deep talking man who says "that's the way I like it". WHAT a voice!

What a great classic. The short version was the most played so people think the long version is just parts being repeated, WRONG!! Back than all discs ran from 8:00 to 15:00, us DJs loved it especially on the radio when it gave us time to smoke one up lol. This is a very cleaver song, taking bits and pieces from other major hits. One of my all time favorites and a big smash in Boston back than and always great to hear because it just puts you in a great mood!!

Great track and still got it on 7". Reminds me of boogieing around the London Discos when it was FUN FUN FUN and everybody smiled. Hey and I remember BT Express too. I hear a lot of UK Clubs are playing this music again probably due to HEART FM Club Classics on Sat night. Blimey...which was the best DISCO in YOUR town I wonder? Disco era of mid-late 70s was certainly unique; I was in the military service for most of it, and the music naturally connects with that time, fondly. This tune sort of ties it all together, in spirit. Too bad it didn't come out a year or so later, it could have included more examples of the genre.

The era was awesome. People would dress up, dance together and freestyle, have a great attitude towards each other, the sometimes dance lines too. Very social place to be at a real disco with great orchestrations in the music. Still have dico CDs at home.
