I have been to a number of auctions years ago with Fred Pledge and he knew heavy equipment auctions...Said Ritchie Bros. was the best and well run...He was right...I would love to have met Dave...He is a real role model you want to follow in your life...Wish him the best...Great story...

Thanks Builder99! Dave is an inspiring man. If you keep your eyes open, you're may just see him at an upcoming auction. He may be retired, but he's definitely still around -- and still remembers every customer's name!

The first auction Fred took me to was in Truro Nova Scotia 1984...You all were first rate...Local police were on site as Fred said their was a lot of cash walking around the site...Thanks for the comment...Good values will always get you through bad times as well as good ones...Lansing Small
