Matt from Diesel Creek is a regular at Richie Brothers, I am a big fan of his channel. Yes, there's usually a reason why the machines in the inoperable section won't do anything, I picked up on that. Looked like a fun time, I'd love to spend time on that completely demolished military wrecker, it does indeed look like something that Whistling Diesel had some fun with. I have too many subscriptions already, but I gotta add you too 🙂

The thing on the back of that digger truck with the card board hub cap is a hydraulic compactor / tamper that is used to compact the dirt around a newly installed power pole that that truck would have installed! Im looking for one for one of my trucks!

The cardboard hubcaps were to hold in diff oil. In order to tow by wrecker they remove axels so as not to damage transmission. That truck must have been towed in.

Like a kid at F.A.O. Schwarz. So many neat toys. My vote is for the military crane truck thing that rolled many times. Your skills and some paste wax and she would be like new in no time. You would need a Sikorsky to get it home but you like a challenge. I'm amazed you knew how to start and operate all these different things. A very interesting tour. Fun times as always.

On most joystick operated machines, there are only two control patterns, ISO or SAE. Most operators know both but prefer one or the others - typically you can switch. So at least on those machines, you can usually operate it even if you've never seen it before.
@TheHomePros622110 ай бұрын
@@ckm-mkc yea I’m use to John Deere or ISO controls like my IHI has a lot of the machines here had SAE controls so they were harder for me

Thank you for walk around in yard. I have seen people REMOVED those cranes on those military wreakers. They just use them stationary, Bet that crane system would still work. I loved those older military crane wreakers.

Just found your channel brother and watched your repair of the old mower and Goldwing. Nice work and good content/video (or haha at least for me). Man I was just telling my wife "Hey honey, you have to be thankful we dont have a Richie Brothers yard auction like that near us". She laughed "thankful...haha". I'd enjoy walking around and checking out all the "will it run" or "should I bid on it" items. Heck, just test running some items would be good time. Anyways mate, good stuff. Keep it up. cheers

Another comment on the Marine Corp CASE track loader 😊 I started running those type of loaders back in 1979 I lover the track control drive system. The 850-B we had on the mainline sewer job, was the fastest for running Pea gravel to excavator. That power turn of those was a very fast working loader.

Get a Harbor Freight engine, a General Pump, a couple of pulleys and cart and set up a belt driven Pressure washer. Could probably do the whole thing for under $800 and it will do 3 -4 GPM @4000 PSI or more. Make for a good video too..

Hey man! Cool auction! I don’t know if it is your video or KZbin but the chapter listing in this video was really weird for me. Looks like they were taken from a gameing video or something! Some examples: 05:03 Rescuing Makarov (AKA Russian Ben Shaprio) 07:36 “I wasn’t in that Tank” 09:47 Open-Combat Missions Made me really confused! I guess it is a KZbin problem but maybe you can check what your automatic chapters are called. Anyway, take care!

For that machine to have 36,000 hour it would have to run for 8.42 years 7 days a week for 12 hour shifts. Hour meters especially digital have a decimal point. For example 356.7. If you don’t read the point you would read that as 3567 hours.
