Parecia que o Richie Valens tava improvisando nessa música na época. Era tanto shows nos EUA em tão pouco tempo na época que já tava enjoativo ficar toda hora cantando a mesma música. Isso deu pra notar o tom de voz quando ele cantava nessa gravação ao vivo. E deu pra notar que estava bem lotado o lugar aí, só de ouvir o público gritando, garanto que a maioria eram garotas, só pelos gritos delas. Kkkkkkkk. Uma pena esse cantor ter partido muito cedo, em tão pouco tempo de carreira.

True Story, In 1980 I joined Edinburgh post punk band The Flowers for their final gig at the Lyceum in London. Ahead of us on bill were Wasted Youth, Martian Dance and Simple Minds. It was to be a total goth fest. Black everywhere. We obviously rebelled and wore as colourful gear as we could find in charity shops. Those of us still blessed with hair sprayed their locks myriad shades of temporary hair dye. We decided the least gothic song to play as an opener was Ritchie Valens' 'La Bamba'. I had never even heard the song before I was told it would be our opening song. (I think the band assumed I knew it). The result was pretty funny...in tune but...odd! To our surprise..we went down with crowd pretty well, there were calls for 'encore',,but time was a factor.....so we went up countless stairs and got as drunk as we perhaps deserved. Thought I'd share. xxxxx Nick.

Brandon Martinez He was dead by the time he was 17. It's not like today where there is a camera attached to everything. A movie camera, even a cheap one, in the 1957 Sears Christmas Catalog was $139 which is $1,190.82 in 2015 money. So there probably weren't to many floating around Pacoima at that time.
