@@c9Rhett Nice I went to Japan last summer and I loved it
So here's my take on this. This song is related to Gehenna (even the beat of the song resembles it). We see the other person's pov and this is the response to her qualm about "being unfortunate to be alive". He clearly denounces that by showing that he's willing to save her life even if that means dying together with her. He also implies that he's "suffocated by the transparent summary" and uses the word "submission" as a means to compel his qualms in regards to her, that is, his subservience as presented by the presence of the bond they supposedly share. I also imply they tried to be in a relationship but the girl is utterly exhausted and clinging outside of this plain of existence, and him utterly frustrated because he has seen previously an opportunity to perhaps date her or have her as his girlfriend. It'd be a means to save her as well. He then, by being faced with the impossibility of having her, also clinges outside because not having her means not being able to purge his own feelings of worthlessness regarding them both. It reminds me of the line "by trying to make myself simple and plain I have given up on the way of how things should be" or something like that, in Gehenna's.
