Nice work, Kurt! I held off watching other reviews for this machine until after I had a chance to use it, but it was good to see a different perspective for this machine.

This is probably the best review of the Ritfit leg extension I've seen. I ended up selling mine for cost because it started to flex under load.

@@TheKurtlocker I have seen several videos about the pressing pad that bends over or shifts the weight to one side of the pad if you understand me..

Absolutely do. I identified the pad as a piece of junk for sure as well. I just found the wobble to be not AS bad compared to other home gym marketed models. And to be clear, I make nothing off of sales here, so not biased by any affiliate marketing

I’ve got one of these at home, I noticed my hips coming up on the leg curls (just like yours did). I stuck an abmat under by hips which pretty much stops that and also reduces the weight compressing down on my quads while in the prone leg curl position. Give it a go, I think it’s a winner.

looking forward to a full review on this! It is definitely a piece I have a lot of interest in. Would like to hear your thoughts on the resistance at the bottom of leg extensions - does it pretty much start at 90 degrees or can you get a bit more stretch on it?
@TheKurtlockerАй бұрын
As mentioned in the video, the strength curve is very consistent
@bradvanfleet1193Ай бұрын
@@TheKurtlocker thanks for the response! I should have worded my question better - I’d be interested to know if you’re able to get into a stretched position beyond 90 degrees for leg extensions. @@TheKurtlocker I’ve seen a couple of people install the leg pad backwards somehow to get the starting position farther back. Although now that I think about it that might have been on the “Lionscool” machine which is similar but not sure if it’s identical.

Great review Kurt. I also own this and think it’s amazing for the cost ($299 after discount). With regards to the leg roller, I actually found it best rolling it to the inside since it gives you a little more resistance at the bottom.

I'm seriously considering this machine, but I would first like to see it compared head-to-head with a similar machine from another brand. The Altas Strength Compact Leg Curl & Extension Station AL-169 is a bit more expensive, but looks very similar to this machine in design and function. The problem is, I can't find a single review of the Atlas machine anywhere. I've seen about 5 different revies on this RitFit unit which were all mostly positive. Why has nobody reviewed the Atlas AL-169?
@TheKurtlocker25 күн бұрын
I’ll look them up and see if they’ll send a unit for review

@@TheKurtlocker I found one more Leg extension/curl machine which looks similar to the RitFit and Atlas, and also uses a cable. It's made by LIONSCOOL, but I've already read too many negative reviews to pursue that one. Hopefully Atlas sends you one. Cheers!
@LaurenMcAllister-j2t24 күн бұрын
Don't rule out the LionsCool just yet. The first release of the LionsCool Leg Extension/Lying curl machine had a lot of problems according to reviews and ratings. They apparently fixed some of those problems and there is a version2.0 for sale now. Since there are three of these brands (LionsCool, Atlas, and RitFit) in the somewhat same price range, and each using a similar cable system. It would definitely be so helpful to have each of them reviewed and compared to each other head to head. I've only found one LionsCool review on their V2.0. Several RitFit reviews, and none on the Atlas. I think the Lionscool has a much better seat design than the RitFit in regards to quality and selective positioning, but that is only going off photos and videos so I can't be sure. Hopefully Kurtis can get his hands on the other two.
