If joonbob has a million fans, then I am one of them. If joonbob has ten fans, then I am one of them. If joonbob has only one fan then that is me. If joonbob has no fans, then that means I am no longer on earth. If the world is against joonbob, then I am against the world.

You are and have always been, in my personal opinion, the best guidemaker in FFXIV. As late as your guides and strats may come, they're ALWAYS the ones that make sense; they don't aim to put an undue amount of responsibility on a specific role, are visually pleasing, easily digestible, AND brief, to boot. I am currently between jobs and cannot support financially, but I hope this changes in the near future. In the meantime I will try to continue sharing the love the best I can!

What I really appreciate about the guides is the use of both detailed diagrams and in-game footage. Where a lot of other guides will do one or the other, or be very simplified to the point I have refer to clear footage to get a grasp. It's a good way to get an idea of how a mechanic works but also see how it looks when you're actually playing. Plus they just look cool and really sets them apart visually.

I remember thinking "idk who this guy is, but his light's rampant diagram just saved pf", and its been the highest quality ever since. Thanks for all you've done over the years Joon - I can't say enough good things about your work and impact. Hopefully I can one day change your opinion on PF blackmages! lolol

I don't normally leave comments on your videos or use them myself for my prog because I tend to beat the raid tiers week one in statics usually. But I wanted to finally leave you a message. Static strats aren't what PF tend to use and there's a bit of relearning with whatever strat PF has decided to use which is what I use your guides for. I love going back and helping my midcore and casual friends. I've been a fan since eden days and have been subbed to your channel since then. Your videos have been invaluable for me to go into PF and prog the fight with my friends. It's so much easier to help teach them these fights with your guides as a visual aid. I really like the cadence of your videos, how stylized, neat, and the language you use for them. They're very easy to understand and helpful. I support you in all your endeavors Joon. Also as a fan would love to see some more videos outside of guides like the silly lethal company and race videos you made. Those were hilarious and cute to watch. Hoping for only the best for you and looking forward to whatever you decide to put out going forward.

I joined the game late ShB. Your guide on e12s was super helpful in getting my clear late into the tier. I always will point friends towards your guides as I found them to be the most relevant and helpful. Your guides are also very helpful in transitioning from static strats to PF strats. I truly appreciate and am thankful for your videos.

I'm the sort of person who vastly prefers written guides or pastebin raid strats to most video guides- i read fast, and most videos include a voice over that's just far too slow for me, and a lot of dead space in the videos to fill in that voiceover with no real info in it, making it irritating to skip between the points where the information i actually want to slow down and study is. I have never had that issue with your guides. Because they're so quick and just about every frame is so visually distinct and made specifically to fit as much as possible into it for each mechanic, it makes it fantastically easy to watch and retain everything, as well as flip between parts i want to view again. the attention to detail to relative size of mechanics AND timings is a godsend. I always have to tell myself to be patient, joonbob videos are worth the wait- so I'm EXTREMELY excited to hear that you'll be working on getting them out a bit faster. thank you so much for all the time you dedicate to this for us!

Your E8S visuals were so ahead of their time, they got me into raiding so see what it's all about. I poked at E9S and then cleared A1S-A4S after joining a static from PF clears. Super excited for your Arcadion guides!

imo the thoughtfulness you put into the visual clarity and design of your guides really distinguishes them from other videos and it's a big part of why I'm a huge fan :) the readability and ease of reference is always insane looking forward to whenever the new stuff comes out and maybe I'll finally hop into m4s lol

I really do not know your magic to be able to make me stuck watching like paying full attention until the last second of the video, the visuals are so good, and your format to create videos are super entertaining, man, you are a talented artist and I thank you for your hard work so far, also for suffering in PF because holy crap waiting 40-50 minutes to find a healer this tier is wild, I spend more time waiting than inside the raid this tier, your music taste and visual design is insane and 100% my cup of tea so it drags my attention a lot.

Your M1S guide had allowed me to get the clear with ease. Literally as soon as you dropped it, I got the clear. It was amazing having a genuine guide that is visually appealing and informational to the point that it just stuck in my sporadic healer mind. Thank you for dropping amazing content and looking forward to the rest of MS FFXIV guides :D

You were the reason I cleared my first tier (even tho it had buffed echo. Late shadowbringers.) And man you were a MASSIVE help! (You and weak alber are my huge help to from being a clueless idiot to a penta legend.) Legit you carried my ass in Edens promise and I learned a lot from the guides, the multi pov's were also a huge help too. I didn't need the help with any ew tiers but I will always recommend your vids to the homies who aren't as experienced or are in the pf trenches! People don't realize pf isn't a static, what you do isn't what everyone else does or knows what you do. Pf may pick some ehh strats at times, you atleast KNOW what's universally agreed upon.

I have a rule in my static that whenever joonbob releases a guide, we switch to that. The mix of gameplay with diagrams that usually move in real time is exactly how i like to learn... plus the banger music. I still go watch the p8s guide for the mix of music sometimes. Keep up the great work man!

Hi joon. Generally I avoid raiding because I am very, very slow at learning, and the usual guides do not help me. Yours always do! You definetly helped me a lot during Eden savage. I remember being very, very frustrated at I think carbuncle fight, and being so frustrated at myself for simply being unable to understand multiple people explaining how it works to me. Then you released your guide and I got it instantly, making the whole playthrough with PF so much better. Idk, your videos scratch the specific itch that makes me learn stuff. And they look great, I love all the art and edits. Thank you for your work!

Love this homie. Very transparent. I also love your philosophy on PFing as it's the same as mine even if I'm in a static. There's a certain vibe, regardless of the temperature, that one can get in PF as opposed to a static which makes PF runs so valuable to me. Otherwise, I've loved your editing style and content presentation as a former content creator myself. Always spoke highly of you and will continue supporting your content even after I ever stop playing FFXIV.

What I really appreciate in your guides is that you show *your own* gameplay along with the diagrams (so I know you actually cleared it and know what you're talking about unlike some other creators lmao) AND you don't monotonously explain the mechanics. Your voice is rather nice to listen, but reading the text helps me a lot to memorize things, I can pause at any moment and re-read if I need to. Thank you for your amazing work and I hope to see more HQ guides from you

Bro I love your guides so much, the quality is so good and your explanations are the best. You explain how the mechanic works and WHY the strat you're teaching works for it, which is something no one else does. They rely heavily on explaining the strat without explaining why you're even doing xyz, so people are just following shit without understanding it themselves, leading to an inability to adjust and careless mistakes in pf. With the diagrams and the gameplay demonstration, it really teaches me what I should do and why in such a clear and easy to understand way. I'm craving your guides desperately, but I know how much work you put in to achieve that level of quality, so I will wait patiently and celebrate when they drop. Thanks for your hard work homie!!

I truly commend you on the quality of the guides and most importantly staying true to your convictions. I do believe that it's important to not stray from your origins and be unwavering in your principles and you have been very remarkable in that over the many years. I've been following your guides since Eden's Verse and I still watch every video to this day, even if I've long passed progging the fight by the time the guides come out. I watch them for the way in which the information is conveyed via concise direction and eye-catching visuals and to give me a perspective to see if possibly any new strats have taken a foothold in pf. I know many raiders I know all appreciate your work and hold them in very high regard, and we raiders all sincerely thank you for your time and effort in your productions~! Hope to run into you in PF in the near future!! ^^

Back when my friends and I decided to gather together to create a partial static (we always seemed to be short a person or two for full parties lol) and actually tackle the second and third tiers of Eden back in Shadowbringers, your various guides were of great help in communicating the mechanics to both others in the static and the people we'd pick up through PF! They made learning the mechanics much less frustrating overall and the raiding experience more fun. I love the clear diagrams as someone who sometimes struggles with just gameplay POV guides and sometimes initially spotting what I should be paying attention to. the illustrations are a treat for the eyes as well and your music choices are p good at getting pumped up to do the fight. I ended up burning out after ShB and taking it easy on raid content for Endwalker, but I'm looking to get back into the swing of things a little at a time with Dawntrail, so I'm glad to find out your plans for the channel work out quite well for this endeavor! Happy Adventuring to you, now and in the future to come !!

Hey Joon! I appreciate what you do, truly. I understand that you don't like voiceovers, but to me, the visuals and music + reading text all distracts me from each aspect of the guide individually and generally I have the watch, rewatch, and watch more to understand where as guides with voiceovers really keep me on track. For the same reason, I don't watched subbed anime because I lose track of what's going on and miss details in either the animations or the words and end up having to rewind. I'm not suggesting you change the style, and honestly I'm not sure what I'm trying to suggest at all, but I'm sure there are more people like me that have similar issues. Anyways, keep being amazing. All that said, the visuals you create are truly stunning and adds a lot of fun factor to the guide.

Your guide help visualize raids/trials while being visually appealing. It helps a lot with nerves for newer players starting to raid. Keep up the good work!

You're the saviour of PF and the reason I got many full tier clears. Your guides are the best!

I think these guides are the only reason I was able to clear the eden tiers. They'll always be my favorite and most looked-forward-to guides. No one does it better IMO

I stumbled upon your gif for HW1/2 during the time when unreal and fennek was being debated. I used to run pf's and say we're doing the funky gif strat/aka my bad because when groups replicated it the mechanic worked every time. I've always enjoyed and shared your videos and will continue to use them for mentoring people getting through content

I go back and rewatch your HC2 video all the time. I am biased because I love that mechanic, but your visuals and the music are fit so perfectly, it's extremely enjoyable! ❤

Been playing since 2.0, but got my first on content savage clear with your m1s guide. Hector has a huge place in the community, but you brought a different perspective that made actually trying the fight much more holistic and understandable. Thanks and I hope you keep it up! ❤
