Hi Jon , I use your coffee/diesel filter as extra insurance with my fuel. I have 30gal fuel caddie within& out fuel filters which do most of my filtering. But you can never be to safe. Keep videos coming- you and wife & girls are terrific. As you say keep on tractor ing.

Had a problem this would of solved with a rental kubota ❤from home depot. A bee got in fuel tank and after 10-15 minutes tractor would cut out. Of course Home Depot wouldn’t stand behind problem but I found out later the equipment owner diagnosed the problem for home depot and removed the bee from the gas tank. Good advice for any tractor owner I think. Keep on tractoring!

I fill mine with one of those funnels that don't allow water to pass , they actually work and stop water and dirt also of course , poured water into it and not a drop came through

I am doing the filter upgrade and moving my pump also. very poor design placing everything underneath especially for me that has the mid mower. That bracket makes it extremely difficult to do maintenance on that.

This is a terrible idea, I have a bio-chemist degree from Harvard University and will tell you why this will damage your engine in less than a week, the result will be most likely a ceased engine with blown up heads and cracked cylinders or worst. Here's why: Diesel fuel consists mainly of paraffins, aromatics and naphthenes. The carbon atoms that link, forming chain like molecules with the N-paraffins ranging from C10H22 to C20H42 will react with the chromium and nickel in the stainless steel of your Coffee Filter. This will cause a chain reaction when exposed to the heat generated by the combustion and will form what is called "Peewee gasses". Now, when "Peewee gasses" ignites, it burns at 3752 Deg celsius . The result will be catastrophic for your engine and will most likely melt it leaving your tractor with no engine inside the engine bay and big blob of molten metal on the ground. This chain reaction will happen within a few second when the condition is just right 😱... Now, did I get your attention? LOL, I'm just kidding. I should have wait until April 1st to post this comment... I repeat, this is a joke. Cheers 😄

I can confirm it doesn't work on a l3430, l4060 or 1025r. Looks like the inner is 3 inches across and outer lip is 3 and 1/4. I still need to find a use for it, or buy a BX also. :-)
