Hi Andrew, thanks for the video! I will go with my three teenage boys. and I heard something about going to islands, fishing, seeing lions in natural reserves etc. It looks like you mostly chilled there or was there anything else that caught your eye?

Hi! Thanks for your comment, we didn’t really do too much outside of the hotel on this trip to be honest, but if you walk south along the beach you’ll get to Ponto, which looked pretty interesting. There’s a lot of people looking to try and make a few quid from you, so be prepared for a lot of chats!

Any issues with pests spiders as I wont be ablr to sleep if so but hey could always bring own supply of fly spray etc!

Hi Lisa, we flew with Tui, it was all pretty good. We were there in January and had no problem at all with insects at all so fingers crossed you’ll be ok!

Hi Stevie, glad you liked it. I think overall the baobab was marginally better (better beach area, free canoe/sup/pedalos and more for kids if that’s important to you) but they’re both pretty close.

Hi Stephen, glad you liked the video! We didn’t take any currency, but if you want some cash it’s as well to use the atm at the airport as when we were there the hotel didn’t have an exchange. Hope you have a great holiday 👍

Hey mate great video. How was the club? How far along beach can you walk? Do the staff speak English. How was the airport experience

Thanks Jordan, glad you liked it! You can walk easily for a good few miles in either direction of the hotel along the beach and once you get a few meters past the ends of the hotel you’ll have the place to yourself pretty much. All the staff are super friendly and pretty well all speak good English. Airport was pretty good too. Definitely a good experience there!

Hi Pete, when we were there the mosquitoes were not a problem at all. Not sure if it was time of year (we were there early January), so couldn’t say what it would be like now… Hope you enjoy your trip!

Thanks for the sharing. What about garbage? I've been told there is garbage in the beach and in the sea...

Hi Paulo, the beach along the frontage of the hotel is kept very clean (and that is quite a large area), however once you are past the ends of the hotel there is a lot of plastic waste on the beach up past the high tide mark. It’s quite sobering when you see the amount and is a real shame given the beauty of the beach.
