We was here in 2010 for honeymoon. When we went my husband and I cried, because it was so beautiful. We said, one day we will come here again. Estuve en ese hotel en junio 2019, me contaron que lo remodelaron en 3 meses, con 2 mil personas trabajando. No muestra el video las habitaciones y baños, decoraciones, que quedaron espectaculares. Excelente hotel, comida y atención. Para volver.

Lvfree Adventures, I'm really stuck between two choices, Riu Punta Cana & Riu Bavaro. I've seen that you were in both hotels. Which one of these two would you recommend most? We are planning to go to Dominicana this year around December, it will be 4 of us - two young couples. I would appreciate your advice. Thank You in advance

Unless they made some major changes since I was there - I would recommend Riu Bavaro. More space, more shade, nice layout. In term of food - they were the same.

Barcelo Bavaro Palace vs Riu Palace Punta cana... I always go to the barcelo, but this looks nice after the remodel, do they have a water park for kids?

Yeah! All the RIU hotels have access to the water park. There's one for kids and adults as well.

No, they don't ask for any deposits. It is all inclusive resorts.

Once one of the most stunning hotel lobbies anywhere. Wrought iron and wood. Now it’s all gone. Almost as ugly as next door at the Riu Bavaro, which holds title as most ugly. Must see to believe. Very sad. I think Riu is chasing a different crowd while chasing me away. All the failed decor aside,....Palace Punta Cana 4 Star. Macao is 5 star and Bavaro is 5 star. Bambu and Naiboa hotels, slightly lower rated, but good value.

We stayed in this hotel few times before and after reno, and talked to people who also stayed there number of times. Everyone liked old design as well. I guess it is time to try something different 😊

No very good rooms are good but have off restaurant close half the ten days l was there and managemt. Taking cash in front off guests. To let people in to lacate in sted off you rip off. And that's was with tu Thomson...

Nah, Hard Rock is a JOKE right now, no in room liquor dispensers, half the restaurants are closed, horrible cust service.....you must be joking!
