Is excaret a water park and how much tip money should I bring

@@esmeejarrett it's not really a water park but you do float in a river flowing through some caves, they give you a life jacket to wear, its so good. Then there's other optional thing you can pay for such as swimming with dophins/ stingrays. There is a brilliant snorkeling area. There's a spa there and you can pay for a treatment and they are done in the caves, there's loads to see and do such a butterflies, birds, flamingos etc. At night there is a tradional mayan show. Theres so much to do in there, theres a mexican cemetary which is well worth a look around. Defo take swimwear with you and loads of suncream 😉 for tipping we usually tipped 1usd, hope this helps oh and I would 100% recommend buying the photo pass. There are spots all over the park that you scan your wristband on and it takes a photo. Take as many as you like as it's all the same cost. The photos turn out amazing! Have fun

RIU Lupita, located behind the Tequila, is a resort with a golf course.

We went in that rip off shop on the resort and nearly fainted at the prices. Theres a supermarket not far from the playacar entrance we started going to for bits and bobs at normal prices

One thing I tried to explain to a couple of mexicans I got talking to while there. I said just coz we're here on holiday doesn't mean we're loaded haha they couldn't grasp that. Apart from one taxi driver who understood that the cost of living in the UK is different to Mexico
