zep was a great band..but back in the 70's some bands were superiors than zep..Deep Purple, Queen, Dire Straits were and are superiors..if you like zep, great, you have good musical taste, but in a impartial opinion zep have better marketing than other bands..
@60indio3 жыл бұрын
@@augustomacchioli2172 what you talking about?? What marketing are did Zep have?? It was exactly the opposite.. Zep didn't rely on marketing.. Grant made sure they remained obscured, mystical, off the news.. It created great demand for their incredible live shows.. An any material their released.. Which was few an in-between.. I live the era.. It was frustrating to like a band so much but gave next to no access to info.. I'm not going to talk about Deep Purple, Dire Straits, Queen.. They were all good.. The reason why they didn't match zep then and through the ages is the quality of the material they composed and the quality of musicianship didn't match Zeppelin's..

I'm so happy you got to see the show, they are superb aren't they? I couldn't go, no money and was sick, they were nominated for a Grammy for best rock, but someone else one, also great, but this is the best I've heard these days, let's pray for the end of Covid 19 and see Rival Sons back in Montreal, so happy to have them with us on this planet, thanks for sharing about the show I missed!

On the mountain where I was born There are trees that would call my name On the wind, they would bring a song For every feral lead to claim They said keep your eyes open And we'll teach you to dream while you are awake Well, they haven't spoken Since their branches were broken for the fire that they told me to Feral roots calling me back home Feral roots are calling me back home On the book where my page was torn There are words that I don't understand All my elders they tell me those ones Were not writ by human hands Well, I just don't believe that's true If the truth can be written, then the truth can be hid Those words are commanding you Though your body may grow old in your mind You must remain a kid Feral roots are calling me back home Feral roots calling me back home Feral roots calling me back home Feral roots calling me back home Feral roots calling me back home Feral roots calling me back home Feral roots calling me back home Feral roots calling me back home
