I'm a big fan of Rival Stars (I play it on PC); thanks for doing this interview! One of the reasons I like the game is because the devs keep adding and building up the game. I even think they could add things like DLC tack / riding areas or something to PC to boost earnings a bit on that end.

23:00 so interesting to hear experienced game devs talk about this. Everyone says the horse-genre of video games is incredibly toxic, but in reality, we really aren't that bad compared to male-heavy genres of gaming and the way those communities conduct themselves.

This was super interesting to listen to, thank you doing the interview! Putting features they are not planning to do into surveys is such an interesting tactic to make sure they understand what the community wants and especially doesn't want, never thought of that but it makes sense. Also I'm so happy to hear a big CEO is regularly watching your videos, that's so cool!

It'd be so cool that if they do add more horse breeds... they'd add the Standardbred and Quarter horse... along with harness racing since that's what the Standardbreds race in!! They could also have each race for harness racing range from the distances and track surfaces just like flat-racing, along with if they only allow Trotters or Pacers to enter that certain race... it'd be sweet! Loved the interview, by the way! Amazing discussion between the both of you. :)

Fantastic!! Absolutely boggle my mind that 5 or so people are working on the PC game. Its basically an idie game but the employees get employee benefits! When i was studying one of my lecturers actually used to work at pikpok. This is fantastic content and im delighted that this game has a very honest CEO at the helm

Great game, I'm a subscriber to the mobile and also have the pc version. Rarely play on pc any more though, waiting for updates. My biggest complaint with the game is breeding, if you breed down (grade 2 to grade 3, guarantee grade 2 foal) you will get good stats. If you try to go up the grades you get rubbish. This is especially a problem when there is a new breed and you're starting with low grade horses and can't move on. Case in point I have a heap of grade 2 Selle F and have given up. So I just ignore the breeding side of things which is a pity.

That could be a bug! I've never had this issue in the PC version. Strange bug, though.

Rival stars is a wonderful game, though I don’t support racing. I do hope to see more disciplines come out in the future, but it’s perfect as it is right now.

Can you make a video on wild horse islands? It's sort of random, but it's a roblox game that's sorta gone to shit and it's in the general "horse game" topic. Small rundown: Dev let pedos in discord server, homophobic community managers, inactive mods/admins, discord shut down, etc.

I missed playing this game but it still is just awful...you can only race like 10/13 times n everything cost gold basically when they only pay u in silver coins...no wonder why i stopped playing its impossible to do anything..when u dont have gold...im done already...again....why does the old version on ps4 seem better with only 1 payout system n its just gold...like its so.much better on ps4...why they cant add whats on mobile version to the ps4 version idk but damn id be a great game if they switched a few things n got rid of some......i wanna be able to play this game on ps4 or mobile without having to be cucked cause i dont have enough gold to pay to train. Ahorse or u cant race till 24hrs till the bar fills back up too 13 to let u race a limted number a time...pharlap is better in everyway...they just need to add whats on mobile to pharlap...just keep the gold payouts from PL and keep the new tracks/jump courses n so on from the mobile n bring it to pharlap...itd be the best game on the market
