I’m always so surprised how people miss that the last scenes are them finding peace. Elena literally says after a long and happy life together. Great reaction, I rate the show a 8/9. Season 5 wasn’t my fave. It’s a great show. The spin off is even better. And Enzo is amazing 🦇🦇

So it was really down to the wire). Which is why they opted for that throw in line instead.

What we saw at the end of TVD was a series of incremental flashforwards. For example, we see Alaric and Caroline opening the Salvatore school and Caroline receiving a check from Klaus, but we know that Klaus donated to the school during the end of TO season 4 (in the year 2019). Elena explained that she and Damon lived long and happy lives, she went back to school, graduated, and became a doctor-this obviously takes years to happen. After living a long and happy life with Damon, she became a senior and eventually died of natural causes. The showrunners later explain that in peace, you appear as the age you felt the happiest or how you see yourself. Then Damon found Elena waiting for him and they reunited in the afterlife, signifying that they only recently passed on. After joining with each other, that's when they each went to look for their family. In the Originals S5, which takes place in the year 2026 (Damon would be 42), Klaus said he set things up with Caroline so that Rebekah can take the cure in a few decades (i.e. when Damon would naturally already be close to death) and Rebekah later mentioned her timeframe to Marcel. Legacies s1 takes place in 2028, so Damon would be 44 (though there are some goofs/retcons with ages, but I'm not getting into that) and still very much alive. And we also know that he and Elena have at least 1 daughter named Stephanie/Stefanie-after Stefan.

THE VAMPIRE DIARIES 10/10 for me. One of my favorites. I started watching it in high school and then introduced it to my brother and we both fell in love with the show. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! People need to do First and Last Episodes of each seasons rather than like this. It is not the best way to find the show good or not. Trust me if you did watch the show you're gonna laugh at your own reaction. A lot of things explained well in the show how Bonnie learn her magic, how everyone still alive (Most of them died in different ways and come back alive also in different ways.) New characters showed up and gone it's A LOT. TVD is that kinda show when you don't pay attention in 10 seconds you would missed important information. (Edit: Enzo is not the only one who has the accent, if you watch the Originals it's a spin-off of TVD. They're first introduced in TVD then move to their own show. They have 'The accent')

Enzo is defiantly one of the best characters. Damon is my favorite though. As for the ending scene, Elana’s family as well as Stephan are all dead. Everyone reuniting at the end is supposed to resemble Damon and Elana living a normal human life together and then dying, this being reunited with their past loved ones.

First of all Elena and Katherine are NOT sisters. They doppelgängers. And Bonnie is a witch and language she spoke is how they cast spells. In this vampire universe vampires can NOT have kids. And Rick became Elena and Jeremy Guardian after Jenna died. Few seasons later Rich fell in with a witch, her name was jo. They engaged and were going to have twins but on their wedding day Jo’s evil twin killed her and tried to kill her babies in the process. But right before her coven (family) died they did a final spell where magically transplanted Rick and Jo’s babies into Caroline. So Caroline gave birth and rise them with Rick.

Quick rundown: - Katherine is a clone of Elena -Elena was in a magical coma - Bonnie is trying to break the spell - Bonnie and Enzo dated for three years while Elena was in the coma - Enzo is a vampire -Stefan took the cure to vampirism, making him human and his blood is also the cure - He gave Damon his blood (which stopped the compelling,because Damon was now human) -Therefore went back and stefan went back and sacrificed himself -The blonde girl outside the school was Stefan’s best friend Lexi (helped him get through being a vampire) - Katherine is basically the devil who died and went to hell - Vicki died and then came back to life, and keeps coming back to life because she is already dead - the end scene is all of them together in peace -the reason why everyone likes the last line “hello brother” is because Damon said that in episode 1 season 1 when he first saw Stefan -Caroline and Alaric were in a relationship for three years because Caroline carried Alaric and Jo’s (His dead wife) babies, cause before Jo died the witches did some spell -Caroline and Stefan were together and got engaged the day before Stefan died they got married -Tyler is a werewolf that died -Vicki died in season 1 because she turned into a vampire - The reason the people who died come back is because it is a supernatural purgatory and bascially they believe that they spend time in there reflecting before they find peace -Damon and Elena are together History: - Katherine and Stefan dated in 1864 -Katherine turned Stefan and Damon into vampires - Stefan and Damon’s father died because when Stefan was first a vampire he was out of control and ate him basically -Katherine didn’t show herself for ages until Stefan and Damon found her in a tomb Summary: Elena met Stefan then fell in love with Stefan, Elena then fell in love with Damon, Elena found out about there past, her friend is a witch, and her other friend is a vampire. Elena is a doppelgänger which means she can be used for many spells therefore she is wanted. And so through the seasons everyone protects her and they basically beat the odds. Then Stefan dies and they both grieve and then they grow old and die because they both took the cure for vampirism Hope these helps :)

Elena and Damon ended up together (since S4) Caroline and Stefan got married (they kinda started in S6) The girls are Alaric (the guy that was talking to Caroline) children that were put into Caroline for protection and she gave birth to them Damon and Caroline had the bigger character development on the series. No Enzo is not the best character, thats definitely reserved for either Damon or Katherine :))) Also yes Elena is w Damon (how that happens is super complicated but def worth watching). Bonnie's a witch obvi. Katherine and Elena are related but not closely, they're called "doppelgangers", so basically an exact copy of each other spread out over centuries. Katherine was born in the 1400s, she's a badass and this episode def does not do her justice. Ummm Klaus is one of the best characters everrr and he's the main character in the Originals. Rating of this show: 1000000/10 bruh same with the Originals. This show is my favorite everrrr please watch!!

@@simonestokes432 alright. But it's not just the acting it's really the actions itself. If Katherine would have acted like this before she would have been long dead. Her actions were simply stupid, uncalculated and braggy. Not to mention her intention would be "seeking revenge" when that's something we've never seen her doing before. And seeking revenge on mystic falls for what exactly? Klaus on the other hand literally ruined her life yet she didn't care the slightest about vengeance cause she doesn't hate him. She is capable of understanding him, relating to him. When you look at people who hate you'll see that's not possible for them. For hatred is blinding. Katherine became a legend for a reason and that definitely included the skills she must have needed to become queen of hell. I'm pretty sure they are also what you and others perceive as badass. I don't blame nina at all because Katherine in the finale was not just the way Katherine usually is, a person no one knows and a wall build up around her. But in the finale Katherine was a person who was ACTIVELY playing a role. And most of fans (including those who have a shallow image of Katherine) do not like that role. So my point is, those legendary skills of Katherine weren't visible in the finale and her intention to burn down the town would be extremely untypical. My theory would then explain everything as it would cause her actions and intentions to be "in character". I am in no way claiming thoufh that this was the intention of the writers. I don't think highly of them, especially not Julie Plec. But when I analyse a character I perceive them as a real person and then "out of character" does not exist anymore. Hope that makes sense, I won't bother you for longer but I wanted to explain my point a bit more precisely :) have a nice day🥰

But i would attribute that to lazy writing instead of her character having some ulterior motive because they would’ve highlighted that. For example when she begged damon not to kill elijah knowing that he would, they pointed that out to show how smart she was. They didn’t do that this time. I love Nina and she’s an amazing actress so that’s why I was a little disappointed, I think because she hadn’t been on the show in a while, the bad hair/writing combined kinda all made it unbelievable whereas in previous seasons it all flowed very well.

Jeremy isn’t dead he’s a vampire hunter and Caroline had became a vampire Katherine turned her it was for the better and those kids happened after she turned in the season before they were transferred to her because u know vampires are dead so they can’t have children.THE TRAUMA u don’t know 🧎🏾‍♀️oh yeah that girl ringing the bell she’s a vamp but she just returned for this episode
