Rivalry Across The Caribbean: Here is The Reason Why

This video is a follow-up to a previous one on Trinidad vs Jamaica. It seeks to explain the root cause of the friendly rivalry across the Caribbean. Everyone wants to feel a sense of belonging, and because of this, our identity takes centre stage in this discussion. Similar to our enslaved ancestors preserving their identity by continuously practicing African traditions after they were taken to the Caribbean, the various Caribbean nations do the same especially those in the diaspora.

The so called rivalry has always been there, my grandfather told me during world war 2 when all the Caribbean islands where put together in a regiment to fight for the crown 👑 in Europe. The Trinidad and jamaican had a rivalry in cooking, boxing, cards,dominoes,football chasing women in southern Italy 🇮🇹 etc etc. Some jamaicans didn't like taking orders from trinis with higher rank. The white Superiors Officers was sometimes amused and fed up with it.

Listen let's b honest, Jamaica jus use Trinidad as a marketing strategy ,Jamaicans Ned to b realistic , Jamaican should compare to a smaller Carribbean island ,interms of development economy etc ,Trinidad to develop close to first world countries status, interms of development,Trinidad is the business capital of the Carribbean most develope Carribbean country ,most industrial Carribbean country,90 percent of the country educated a large percent of the country have a Access to internet & electricity,you would hardly find a latrine of a big bk tv in trinidad ,,,an water on point in most areas,of the country high rise buildings top of the line malls a variety of top of d line food ,even street food is on a 5 star restaurant level ,we also have a very active night live ,organize transportation , an kep in mind jamaica is the most popular vocation country in the Caribbean ,trinbago is the most popular career building Carribbean country in the Carribbean, and that facts, so there is no comparison ok we luv Jamaicans ,so u all ned to stop it
