The OL + Ford running inside is a winning combo. Ford doesn't really have the breakaway speed for sweeps vs top opposition, but behind the C and Gs he's effective. Sims is an especially good run blocker. Against a 3-4 or 4-2 set, they will be deadly. Edit-Sims is good at pulling and trapping. Number 66 is a straight up mauler.

Brandon Ford has really upgraded this offense-before, it was basically the Jeff Eaton show; having a viable running back has opened up not just rushing plays but his ability to catch passes just tacks on to an already great receiving corps. Plus, it helps eat time and keep the mediocre defense off the field, lest they get exposed by offenses capable of matching the Moon Men

To neutralize a stud OLB/DE, you have to run AT them, not away from them. Bill Walsh/George Seifert were masters at this which is why Lawrence Taylor rarely had good games against the 49ers.

@@nxght6694 It's because when you run at them, the whole focus point of the offensive line is on them. When you run away, the player can use their athleticism to get into the play from favorable angles.

@@ryanchase9332 and Jack La Pedis: Okay but this is a video game where the lineman don’t always go where it makes the most sense or they trip on grass and sometimes players phase through others. So I would say being that Ford was ripping off good yardage overall, maybe your advice is bad or at least unproven today and what Drewski did is good and definitely yielded favorable results.

​@@nxght6694 Let me give you an example: Generally speaking, on a rush to the right (even just into the hole between the guard and tackle), the left tackle (and sometimes left TE) would leave that last man on the defensive front unblocked. When that happened against Lawrence Taylor, he was fast enough to chase down the RB from behind as he hit the hole (and sometimes before). However, if you rushed *at* LT, and blocked him with a tackle (or double-teamed him) his speed would be neutralized. LT was strong, but he was faster than he was strong, so running at him neutralized his best asset, the asset that made him the game-changer that he was. Does that make more sense now?

I am an old who does not understand watching other people play video games. I would rather just play them myself. Having said that, I really enjoy watching YOU play video games, Drewski. I don't always agree with how you create these dynasties, I think you could give yourself a lot more restrictions. But each one of these that you have done, is always entertaining. You really do bring a lot of fun and joy to these, and I always click when you've got a new video. I've been around since the Pandas and I'll be around when you start your NCAA 23 dynasties.
