how come my shield gets blockier when his ice is out sometimes? does it change his frame advantage?

@@demiurge2501 it happens when you shield his neutral or down special, but from what I tested it's just a visual effect

@@rapires7672 This is actually intended. When you hit an opponent with Etalus down or neutral special, and the opponent shields the hit, their shield will be "frozen". This makes it slower to recover and more easily breakable. This effect ends when either shield breaks or Etalus dies I believe.

I have noticed the down special doesn't always freeze opponents even when theyre on the ice.

Only way that happens is if they shield, dodge or aren't actually in the ground with ice
