Yeah, someone managed to make a template that made them work in Rivals of Aether. There will be more in the next month's highlights too since there were multiple assists released on April Fools Day.

That King Tide transition was sick! I also honestly didn’t expect to see Tiger! Tiger! get in, considering how little attention it’s gotten. We need more Xenoblade content on workshop because I’m not remaking Tiger! Tiger! yet again lol

Really cool to see the assist buddy being utilized for so many characters! Bummer that they can't be used online but it's great that there's a good template out there to make buddies with an attack now.

I know this sounds weird but are you allowed to make the level of the cpu higher in rivals just asking

they all max out at level 9 difficulty, though it is possible to program custom AI. A few characters have it (most notably all of Lukaru's characters and Wally), but it has to be manually implemented
