The up b is the definition of overtuned. You can't give a character recovery the height of pit up special and make it an out of shield option.

There's specially 4 things I love about this "You are too slow!" "Come on! Step it up!" "NOW I'LL SHOW YOU!" And the fact you included the Sonic Wind. Sega only lets him use it when he's a boss, even if it's just the up throw, having access to Sonic Wind brings a smile to my face Also, the whole thing is peak. I feel like the boost would be a lot cooler if it was a mechanic. A gauge that lets you run faster and deal damage while active but when it’s not active sonic plays more “normally”. To recharge it you have to land hits on an enemy as a reference to how in generations and such you could recharge your boost by defeating enemies

I can envision it taking some ques from Sonic Unleashed on the Wii/PS2. You get a limited number of boosts that you can fill up as you fight your opponents but if you get hit, it starts going down and if you lose a stock, it drops all the way down to zero.

Since Sakurai played Sonic Frontiers according to his Twitter post, I can predict that Sonic's move sets will be base off from Sonic Frontiers in that game and his final smash will still be super Sonic, but it might be different from said game once he makes another appearance in the next Smash Bros game featuring his frontier stage. His proportions will remain the same and his animation will be adjusted. This is some good mod you did.

A candidate for the side smash I’ve always thought about is his charge attack l from Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric. (For those that haven’t seen it, a foot-first spinning lunge/dive forward.) the animation seems so fit for a side smash, I’m surprised no fan-made re-imaginings of Sonic (Ultimate, other Smash games, or even Rivals of Aether Workshop mods) I’ve seen have used it.

This seems like a fun sonic. Unfortunate that the sonic we got was basically a timer scam gimmick character. Not Sonic's fault though. He was kind of made that way. Nice to see smash is alive and well. The future of smash might not be able to beat what modders are doing nowadays. Mods are looking more refined every year. Recently played with this and Ngl this is so much more balanced than the last. I’ve had this and the multi hit up special was atrocious especially with how high it goes and combo potential. I killed way too early with it. I would like the up air you gave him back but overall this is still amazing. Also that final smash might need to be changed. Most of the time it does at least 150% if it doesn’t kill. (This mod is awesome and I still have the old one😊)
