I honestly did not believe they were going to go WW I with this. I guess we all need to start running around as snipers with iron sights in BF4 because that's what the grunts had in WW I...bolt-action rifles (Mauser 98s, Lee-Enfield .303s, etc.) with iron sights and the officers with revolvers or Lugers. Machine guns were generally fixed emplaced weapons with a few exceptions like the Chauchat and the BAR and those early LMGs were rare. Tanks rarely moved faster than walking speed, but since there were virtually no anti-tank weapons except artillery, they were almost impossible to stop until they broke down (which was frequent). No SMGs to speak of, no semi-auto rifles. It's going to be really fascinating to see how they do it. That being said, the trailer was EPIC. And a lot of it looked to be set in desert, maybe Palestine or Gallipoli? Would be cool to play as ANZAC or Ottoman on some maps instead of the usual BEF/French/German.
