Wow! This is an absolutely fantastic watch Esbjorn. Thank you so much for sharing. I love Sinn watches, and this Rivelta Metrodive has that same "flavor". Awesome design, great specs, excellent quality, and at a very competitive price. The reg US price of $449 is excellent, using your 15% discount makes it extreme value for money. I have also already looked at their website, and noticed they offer 4 variations of this model. The one you featured, the Metrodive 01, has a gray like dial. I think i like the Metrodive 03, which has a black dial and offers yet even greater contrast. I also like the Metrodive 04 with its stainless steel bezel. One thing is for sure, this watch is solid on my radar screen for purchase. Thank you again for your incredible reviews and photography. Love your work. Be well my friend.

Thanks so much for you kind feedback, and yes it's very nice for the money and the style certainly right up my alley! You pulled me up on a mistake, it's actually the 03 that I have here so will fix that! I also like the stainless steel dial a lot, decisions decsions 😆

Your video title is correct noting 03 which is what you featured, but in your written description you noted 01. They did a nice job with the dial and bezel, the numerals in particular look good. And points for a bidirectional bezel. I’d almost like to see this with a quality quartz movement. Nice to see SE Asia producing another cool microbrand.

Yeah good point but an automatic watch at just over AUD 500 that’s as attractive as this…speaks to me 😊👍🏻

Al the Sinn is a field watch with a bezel, I have studied the range and can not find a direct comparison, I would therefore consider it quite original

I think you liken this to the Sinn 104. I prefer the Sinn 104 without numerals, and it took me a while to appreciate you are right, but I do find the Sinn a good deal more attractive looking. Yes, it is a busier watch, but there is a certainly classical or vintage charm about that, which has been reduced away here. Nonetheless, within the Sinn lineup I'm unlikely to fall for a 104, so I am also very unlikely the audience for this. While certainly well-considered, I mainky find this quite boring and I struggle to find much that amounts to a recognisable character or identity. While the logo is actaully handsome enough, they oddly didn't put that on the crown and while most of the printing looks good, as you point out, tge oeinting of the branding on the dial lets it down a little. The side prifile with the crown guards is pretty strong, but the hands and the day-date on the Sinn 104 win any comparison with ease. I wonder if people interested in Sinn and interested in this wouldn't be better served with an Archimede Outdoor. Not sure how much you'd save on a Sinn, but it feels for me a more proper alternative with clearer identity, but of course leave it to me to place little importance on the presence of a rotating bezel.

Well put as usual, I think this does scratch the itch of those of us that likes the beautiful simplicity of the 104 (with numerals) but don’t want to commit to the outlay. It’s a great wear in person but of course, homages are not for everyone regardless of how good they might be! Thanks for watching as always
