River Bluff High School Marching Band 2013- Lorraine Paris Invitational

This competition was held at Newberry High School. RBHS was awarded Best Percussion for AAA, Best Colorguard for AAA, 1st Place in AAA (with a rating of Superior), Highest Overall Visual score, Highest Overall General Effects score, and Grand Champion, with the highest score out of all the competing bands. All this while it was pouring down rain. This was also RBHS's FIRST EVER Marching Band competition.

You know, when people ask me if I'm mad about coming in second at state, I remember a couple of Blue Ridge members turning to us and saying "Suck it River Bluff." And every time I say, "Why would I be mad? It took Blue Ridge 11 years to place 1st at state. It took us 4 months to place 2nd."and the fact that we congratulated them, even though they said that, just goes to show who has more class.

We had to be moved back to 2A due to transportation issues. We came in second by .25 of a poin. Irmo came in first. Gilbert was awarded Grand Champions. Chapin came in third.
