Hi Guys and of course little Roxy. A lovely site which we think might be worth a stay. We found your site review to be very thorough and very informative. The Westies will love the Dog Walk for sure and will more than likely dip their paws in the river lol. Cragside House looks stunning especially the gardens. Thank you for showing us around and introducing us to more fellow KZbinrs! ATB and Safe Travels and Happy Camping. Brian, Sue and The Westies👍🐶🐾🐾🐾😀❤️

Tim is was really great! Nic & family did a fab job of being hosts & being serenaded every evening was an added delight that I didn’t expect. Neil & the Tin Stones were amazing too! Perfect bank holiday all round 💕

We are so glad we have connected with you, this is just the sort of content we’re interested in. You both have such a great tone for this sort of content. We definitely want to come across the Tinstones one day. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Oh shucks guys … so kind … I can’t believe I allow myself on film (Rachel) as I was at I scared at first and David won’t mind me saying he is naturally introverted so we are both pushing ourselves but meeting new friends makes it worth while 💕 The Tinstones blew me away and how lucky are we to have a small but perfectly formed session with them?! Loved it! My perfect weekend! 💕

Don’t rush it Mo, do what you feel comfortable with. It does get easier (although I still can’t watch myself 🤣🤣) Isn’t it so lovely we can all connect, interact and share ideas … I am loving it (non tecky Rachel) 💕

Wow we really enjoyed this vlog. So informative and thanks for suggesting this video to us as National Trust members. Cragside will definately be on our list as we have relatives in Northallerton which is a long way from our home in Wales. We could have listened to the band all night especially when they sang Delilah! 😍 😍💕

What a small world! From Northallerton it isn’t too far. Cragside is worth a trip, it is stunningly beautiful. The Tin Stones were amazing & so talented and really made our trip! I’m glad you are enjoying our adventures Rachel 💕

Looks like a nice tidy site. Roxy looked like she loved her walk and paddle❤️🐶. Nice trail for the kids. Love gorse. Smells so nice. So much care has been taken over the walk. Cragside car park complete with Cv 🤣. Looks like a lovely place to visit. House looked gorgeous. Roxy was a good guide showing us round the power house. Garden was so pretty and huge! Think we’d definitely like to visit there. Sounds like you had a lovely time. 😊🧙♂️

I’ve been wanting to go to Cragside for years and it really didn’t disappoint would highly recommend visiting lots to explore and more than we showed with lots of information on the history as well as the engineering. Unbelievable what they achieved all those years back. I’m sure you both (and Maya and Luna) would love it. Thank you, David, Rachel & Roxy 🐾

It's a lovely site that. I was there early last year and 2nd week of March this year. The fish and chips certainly hits the spot. Another tip for next time, I don't know if you found it, there's another walk close by. If you walk out of the campsite and turn right, just along the road there is a small gate that you can go through for a nice walk around the lake, it's a bit longer than the walk inside the site so a good alternative. I'm pretty sure you can extend that walk up to the Linnhope Spout waterfall if you're feeling energetic. It's definitely a site to return to.

Thanks so much for the tip Brian, most appreciated. It’s a lovely site isn’t it. Always great to have something to explore when you go back. Have a best weekend and thanks for the comment - all the best, David & Rachel 👍

This is one of our favourite sites, we have been 3 times this year. The new serviced pitches are superb, the picnic benches and bike rack are for the three tent pitches at the end of the site. If you turn right out of the site it takes you to a lovely eating place called The Bosk about a 20 minute walk with a lovely garden. In the National Park behind the site are some stunning walks and a small cafe open daily, not sure if you found them.

Hi David, it’s a lovely site isn’t it, we didn’t find the cafe or the Bosk but really great to know for next time, I did wonder what was to the right though. Thanks for the comment and recommendations- all the best, David & Rachel 👍
