Spencer got me into Kayak river Flathead fishing. I have been a pond/lake bank fisherman targeting channels, literally since I could cast a rod into our farm pond and the kayak opened up a whole new World. I have since bought a Tracker that I have loosely converted into a catfish boat for the big river (Missouri) and larger reservoirs, but chasing flattys in log jams on little creeks is still the most exciting for me. Camping out on a sand bar in the middle of nowhere and hearing a clicker spin at 2 AM is pure Exstacy in my World. So Thank you Spencer for introducing me to kayak creek fishing. I have caught the biggest fish of my 55 year old life in just the past 4 years, and now have the knowledge, gear, and experience to keep breaking PBs... and it's all because of you. And THAT sir is RIVER CERTIFIED!

Spencer is the guy who got me watching KZbin. After coming across one of his videos I went down that rabbit hole, looking for more. He has a great sense of humor and laughs everything off. And then of course, he knows what he's talking about. He's a legend in Iowa and will a nationwide legend before he's through. Thanks for having him on!

I've been following Spencer since his channel was about 12k subs. His videos are basically like hanging out with a friend and fishing. Doesn't get much better. I enjoy your vids also for the same reasons

Good to see Spence on here, he's a good kid, him and his family. I never actually met him but I usually comment on all his videos and he usually always answers me back and I know that's tough for him to answer anybody, I know he's probably busier than a one eyed cat watching three mice holes and I sure appreciate him answering me because of that. And like I said he's a good kid, I say kid because I'm a 63 year old man. And I been watching his channel about as long as I been watching yours Dieter, at least 5 years or so. I went to the Cat Con back in 19, and I'd had been watching a lot of guys on KZbin and most were there but I couldn't meet any of them because everyone of them always had a crowd of folks around them, which was understandable. Although I did get to meet whatcha callit with muddy river catfishing, but he was the only one I did. Anyhow, yeah good stuff Dieter, KUTGW bud!

I follow both channels and I learn a lot from both and both have very good content for learning and how to set up your boats and gear. I fish for multi species from chasing cats to walleye and crappie. I take out other people from the fire dept to law enforce to fish and enjoy the outdoors.

I enjoyed that content, Deiter. I'm inspired to do more fishing on account of channels like yours and Spencer's. Last year I caught my fist flathead, it was only 17 inches long and only weighed a few pounds. But, I was so excited to catch it, because that's what I was targeting.

When he said he used to be a teacher I was like "Yep, that seems to fit for him". When I was in high school we had a teacher you could get off on another subject for the whole class. Mrs. Norwood. They owned cattle, and if you mentioned cows that was it. She'd start talking about their cows and no more class that day.
