hi! we were sitting at rivercity mall. we bought the tickets online a few weeks before new year's eve. after the fireworks, we walked to hua lamphong mrt station for more or less 15,imutes back to our hotel.

@@RODyssey15 Ahh niceee. Did you find Rivercity mall to be better for viewing the fireworks compared to Iconsiam? Also, did you have to book any pass/table for the viewing area of Rivercity mall? Thanks!

@ i've read in reviews that it's a struggle to get a good view in iconsiam coz all the best areas are either exorbitantly priced or fenced off for VIP's. plus you're very near the fireworks, it looks much better from a distance, in my opinion. i bought the tickets from the rivercity website under events tab for 500baht per pax on the 1st week of december. when we went to rivercity on the 31st at around 5pm, some tickets were also sold at reception but were sold out quite fast.

@ saphan taksin bridge is also an alternative but u have to be there quite early, and its free. but just check coz there might be changes.
