Ahh Braw!!! Lovely spot for sure and cannot wait until 2021 now unfortunately......was due over on 4 weeks with a group from France on Crathes Castle with Brian and later in the week on Park North and South, some fantastic fishing to be had on the Dee for sure and just 5 weeks after you had that one I had the pleasure of netting a genuine Dee Gator up in Mitchels on Monaltrie for a client …….just a tad under 25lb. Tight lines!!!

It's a terrible situation - so many things we were looking forward to this year gone in an instant. Chins up - let's look just a little bit further forward and we will be out of this mess and on the road to recovery. Great film FL & F !!! Lovely piece of Heaven you have in the Dee! I note the water color is tea which is similar to the Miramichi here in New Brunswick. Never mine the fishing...the visuals are just superb! As per Maurice Cahill's post...we have not yet heard of the status of the salmon fishery here in New Brunswick. I have 8 days booked. We are hoping for the best...but preparing for the worst...Mike

@@FinLineFly Hey Paul, I've got 8 days on the REstigouche and Upsalquitch Rivers in so far and HOPE to get back to Larry's Gulch for 2-4 days. So far, I've released 10 salmon and hooked another 10 which I've lost. Seeing a good number of fish in the rivers but the main issues are water levels and water temp which are a consequence of the dry hot summer we are experiencing...8 of the 10 are grilse and a pair of 15 pounders.
