River Fishing for Smallmouth Bass !

That's a sweet-looking Summer river to wade fish!!! I say no net unless you are Steelhead or Musky fishing. That stretch was full of river beauties. You can't beat this time of year when the conditions are perfect. It's so cool you can get LM and SM Bass!!! Plus the varied color patterns on those Smallies are amazing. Excellent outing.

Strongly recommend a net. Easier on you and the fish, esp the silicone ones. Lets you hold fish in the water for good photos and vids. Easy to carry behind your back with a good magnetic clip.

Thank you for the info! I'll have to look into that magnetic clip you are talking about. I have a small wading net that hooks up to my waders but is always floating along side of me or gets infront of me and usually just gets in the way. Also it's not treble hook friendly. I rarely lose fish without a net so I guess that's why I never really needed one or wanted one. But the kayak net I have is amazing just wish they made one smaller for wading. Thanks for watching 👊
