Thank you! And I've only been on that river from June through August. But I hear it's real good in spring for walleye. Really nice smallies too. Morning and evening bite was solid. Thanks for watching 👊

Not sure what they're putting in that water, but man alive, those are some big fish! Your laughter tells the whole story. What a day!
@reelfeelfishingАй бұрын
Hahaha so true! I didn't even see a small fish in that place. Just a wild place. Either no fishing pressure or the panfish there are good eating or something. Wild hahaha. Thanks for watching Ryan 👊

@@reelfeelfishing the best days ever dude😂. I haven't gotten on any mondo Bassfish this year yet. Pretty run of the mill, but actually been doing some "Jared" style fishin on the creeks and little rivers for Smallies, trying to dial it up a little, usually only a few times a year I get out, but been decent action just nothing over 3 probably yet. Anyway, looking forward to the next videos I love watching your guys adventures
@reelfeelfishingАй бұрын
@Sean_Zilla thats awesome ! Love some skinny water action. Yeah this year wasn't the greatest with time and fishing. I think I only got to the creeks a handful of times but tried new waters all the time and checked things off the list hahaha.

Oh man I would have thrown some of my big glide baits out there and see what I could get!! Great vid!
@reelfeelfishingАй бұрын
Thank you! And yeah I tried throwing a huge 4oz wake bait and then a big Savage Gear glide but no takers. I think they wanted something with a blade and some flash on it. But I will definitely try again in the future. Thank you for watching 👊
@jakewelsh6500Ай бұрын
I was throwing my savage 135 that morning quite a bit. They wanted the jackhammer so we gave it to em.

Idk where I can to fishing in Chicago:(

I usually just fish the harbors in Spring and summer. You can always catch some fish roaming around the harbors. Especially bass and pike. I know around this time it's usually colder water species. The perch and stuff start to pick up. But if I were you, I'd try any harbor area. Or get out of the city and do some small ponds in neighborhoods and the suburbs if you can travel. Hope that helps! Thank you for watching 👊

My goodness dude!!!! 4.8lb beauty to start with 😮 Man…the one lost on the jump was a bummer. Another gorgeous bass #2 Then your buddies fish💪🏻 The 4.12lb and the other looked bigger brother! I wanted to see the frying pan sized bluegill bro!! 11:40 chuckle…I feel ya man😳 Such healthy looking bass too. What a great outing Jared!!!
@reelfeelfishingАй бұрын
Thank you Chris! It was wild times for sure. I thought a few of them were bigger than what the weight was too. Just massive bellies on them. And I might make a short of the bluegill I caught. It was huge too. I also caught 2 pumpkinseed that were Beautiful but not that big. So the bass got good stuff to eat in there. When days like these happen I just keep laughing and smiling hahaha. Thanks for watching 👊
@dsmith2858Ай бұрын

@reelfeelfishingАй бұрын
Hahaha thank you! It was wild to see that almost all of them just had a huge belly. Over eating very well hahaha. Thanks for watching 👊

Nothing but HAWGS! Talk about a honey hole. Btw…do you shoot in Hyper Smooth? I shot some footage the other day with my head cam and the footage made me sick to watch. 🤢 Way too shaky.
@reelfeelfishingАй бұрын
Thanks Bryan! It was a good day to maybe end out the year for me. Time has just become tight lately. But good times for sure. And I've never done anything other than 1080p standard. That hyper smooth was real strange to me as well. It seemed like anytime you move, the camera tries to catch up with the movement. I bet you that could be good if it was on a tripod that didn't move. But I never tried that either. Thanks for watching 👊

Whew, practice might lead to perfect, but for over 3 minutes you were a perfect O-for. Wouldn’t have taken me that long to lose the Whopper in a tree. I’m thinking more like “patience is a virtue” and you are über virtuous!! 😊
@reelfeelfishingАй бұрын
Scott !!! Hahaha you are right gotta be patient in the long run. Hope you are doing well. It's fun times slinging the plopper in the creeks. Thank you for watching 👊

I haven't had much time/luck with topwater this year like in the past. Man, some of those spots with the brush looked killer! Dude, what a beautiful smallie from under the bridge 💪 Agreed with the being in 1' of water then can step into a 6' hole, been there and done that unfortunately. I see you traveled all the way up to the clear water! Good stuff Jared!
@reelfeelfishing2 ай бұрын
Thanks Chris! Yeah I completely agree with you, this year just wasn't the same with topwater. I got some frog action but couldn't get the plopper going good. I love how different that area of the creek can be. Thanks for watching 👊
